Personally think he’s missed a trick. Should’ve done a 5-year residency at St Greg’s.

I'm not overly fussed to be honest.

I like his live stuff (or did back in the day) and I loved Phoenix Nights - I'm not so fond of when, like Marc says, he goes on other shows and tries to take over

Nah, leave as is

Once got talking to one half of Les Alonos after he did a stand up gig. The one from Barnsley

Anyway he was less than complimentary about PK

Said he blocked them from using jokes from phoenix nights even though he may have written the joke in the first place, PK was fine to use them though in his stand up

Bloke who was Ray Von wasn't too complimentary either

If they have patched up it could work but still think it could end up like only fools and horses after they struck it rich

Same way as liking someone simply because they're from Bolton

imagine the shock when the less rich actors / comedians not being complimentary about the rich / famous comedian.

I think its because Neil Fitzmaurice and Dave Spikey contributed a lot of material and Peter Kay just ran with it like he did it all.

And there we go

Not allowed to criticise Peter Kay

No, no, never

Every joke he tells is funny because he's from Bolton

What is my very sad state?

So the whole of Middlesbrough should be proud of Chubby Brown?

Who was paying their wages?

Intellectual property innit

Surely everyone has laughed at something Peter Kay has done, I’d doubt anyone can say that they haven’t.

That you lot always hate anyone successful from Town

I doubt PK paid them directly

Apparently they all contributed but he was happy to take all the credit without acknowledging them

E.g "Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights" on the DVD covers and him being nominated for the writing awards as opposed to the team of writers they actually we're

Seem to recall they were also pissed off that they had a 3rd series and Christmas special planned and ready to go but PK decided to go off and do Max and Paddy instead (maybe out of spite)

I'll be really interested to see what the material is:

"ey, in't it funny when you've got 10 million in the bank and can bank a few more for 12 nights work, ey, innit!"

Good luck to him anyway, funnier than cunts like Michael McIntyre (who isn't!).

You quoted me in response to a question I asked

How is that me jumping in?

Good to hear, interesting about the swearing I've got a warm up set of his from mid 2000s on my iTunes that's piss funny but a lot more sweary and abrasive than the final arena product.

Did he make any mention of where he's been or the reasons for the cancellation? I wonder if there will be a tell all appearance on the One Show that he then proceeds to completely take over and ruin for whoever the bemused American guest is that they have on 😃

His appearance on Jonathan Ross was one of the most embarrassing things Ive seen.

If I didnt know any better I'd have said he off his face.

Like he was having some kind of breakdown.
