MalcolmW
Anyone watching Tunisia v Panama on ITV 4 I might have it on the laptop to keep abreast of developments. I have the TV sound low and a McCartney concert playing so I can't hear the commentators or pundits, but pick up roars from the crowd. It works for me. frank_spencer
Boyata played all his career at centre back, built like a centre back for some reason played as a right back for us.
Blondi
We could do with Belgium scoring or us getting maybe a red card!

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 28, 2018 Site Supporter Share Posted June 28, 2018 A bit predictable. At first we were a bit PP esque, but got better. Wing backs done well, especially rose. RLC done ok. Rashford not done as much as I'd hoped but time yet. Agree with some of the pundits comments, but not too concerned. Marc505
Big, presumptuous gamble this from England. We haven’t got the track record to be picking and choosing knock out round opponents.

We haven’t got the track record to be picking and choosing knock out round opponents. To be fair I don't think they have. Two teams both through, no pressure and who knows how things will pan out with the results thus far?

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 28, 2018 Site Supporter Share Posted June 28, 2018 No issues for me. Both teams made huge numbers of changes. Only ourselves to blame for not putting chances away. Crossing been poor, but we responded well to going one behind. A good workout and Southgate may have learned a bit about who/what he should play going forward. Not sure Dier and Delph are needed together. The former is a centre half who does what is says on the tin. All in all, although a disappointing result, I'm not despondent. Roll on Colombia; it will be a tough game though.
