Called in this afternoon after an early finish. Weather not great but still busy.

Carrs black pudding sausage rolls are brilliant.

Missed Brixton’s butter stall but I’ll be be back on Sunday.

Definitely picking up one of those Carrs black pudding sausage rolls on my way over today

I tried one yesterday. I was a bit underwhelmed if I'm honest. Only had a nibble though - maybe I need to give it another go. Them steak ones are immense though!

Didn’t have time yesterday so drove back across today. Right shame that it was absolutely heaving it down. Seemed like a good set up all round. Had the Carrs festival sausage roll. Liked it a lot

Should have gone yesterday. Not.

Got back with a soggy ciabatta and generally pissed through.

Was quiet though so got served dead quick.

Bought a jar of scotch bonnet chutney/sauce type stuff that is actually not as bad as it sounds. Sweet and tasty!

Always pay a visit to Shirley's pies too. Didn't realise they were at presall. Gonzo should be a regular visitor they're tremendous

Had my first taste of those gyros from the Taste Of Greece stall, definitely need to go to their restaurant.

The Mrs commented about the queue for there. Had no idea what they were.

Queue was massive each time I saw them but well worth the wait.

Shout-out also to the Dutch fish company that came round giving out samples, they were excellent

The cod bites from there were top notch, really enjoyed them.

Don’t know what the pinky/orange dip was that was with it but that was good too.

Don’t think so, but their registration/ hygiene cert on the van was from Salford council so maybe something over that way

They’re there every year and there’s always at least a couple of dozen folk in the queue, so full marks for perseverance!

There is a Taste of Greece in town and it is worth a visit, but they’re not the same people and the Bolton version might not stand up to comparison.

I've been to the one on Churchgate. It's OK for takeaway reminders of takeaway food on your jollies. Gyros, etc.
