Do foreign countries have English markets at Christmas?

Carrs selling pasty and a pint for 15 euros.

the one in Bruges felt somewhat English, but I'd only been to the markets over here before then

still, it was just a bit shit, tatty and overpriced, like the one in Manchester - the plus point was it was nowhere near as busy

the one in Ghent was far nicer and felt much more European and festive

The Christmas Markets are popular all over Central and Eastern Europe. Vienna is really nice. I may be biased but you can’t beat Prague. They are spread all over the city in multiple locations. To try some authentic German sausage, get the train to Dresden and their markets. Only about 2 hours from Prague and a lovely scenic ride along the Vltava and Elbe (window seat on the right hand side)
