As was put to me the other day, the process is probably still covered by NDA

So, all the negative stuff isn't coming from somebody with anything to lose by breaching said agreement

I'll leave that to others to decide who might want to paint FV in a poor light

I'm sure if FV could give their side, folk would be less twitchy

FV will do this deal if it makes financial sense for them. If it doesn’t anymore they will not. Which is the correct thing to do. It is just worrying as a fan of a club who has been used to having ED in background willing to get us out of trouble. The backstop is removed now and we are left with a situation where the future is decided by whether the business makes sense and nowt else.

Correct on both counts .Les Bradd is Notts County's leading scorer of all time but played for Stockport later in his career & scored a good  few for them .

Needam played for Forest later but in quite a successful side could have been Clough in charge not sure.

I wonder why after hanging around for 3 months FV have not found out if it makes financial sense yet?

All theyre doing is what any successful business does and that's to get value for money, if it wasn't for the 'juggling' of funds and mountains of paperwork they'd of probably had this done and dusted or walked away.  They're still here thank the Lord.

Their business plan is seemingly based on owning the hotel and getting the players (and who knows who else) to defer payment for several years.

Which makes the process of them being named preferred bidder over six weeks ago seem slightly bizarre.

There was nobody else. How hard is that to understand?

Wouldn't surprise me if the Wycombe games gets cancelled to give FV a further week to get players and the deal done would be in the EFL interest.

I'd probably agree, but the absence of something from the league tells me that's unlikely

They've issued a statement re deadlines for bury

Deadlines for Bury but not for Bolton. Are we actually in a better position than Bury? If FV decide to cut their losses and walk surely we'd be in pretty much the same place. Smacks a little bit like having all your eggs in one basket.

I'm not saying there was (although, I don't think it's ever been said that FV were the only bidder).

It's bizarre in that when the administrators announced they'd chosen a preferred bidder, they gave timelines of two/three weeks for everything to be completed. How does that marry up with FV's business plan relying on buying the hotel, for which the process of selling hadn't even begun?

I don't think we have enough self important bell ends, can you fetch any more?

I think with you and me being on here that two self important bell ends are more than enough.

Have a nice day.

Bury do not even have a basket.

Hope so. it gives us a bit more time to put a team together ( & absolutely nothing to do with it being the only new ground for me next season & I can't go next Saturday !! )

The administrators said on the BWFC website they had received offers from five parties before the deadline

So there were 4 other parties interested and put an offer in.

Which is meaningless. Loons put in bids with no proof of funds....

Only FV paid for the data room access. So the rest wouldn’t have submitted a meaningful bid.

I thought several parties had paid the non-refundable fee for access to the data room?
