Wanderers' administrators said on Monday that the club is not in a position to carry on trading and "the process of closing down" could start on Wednesday.

However, it is understood the club could still participate in their scheduled fixtures even if they go into liquidation.

Ermmm, I defended Anderson while he was being a cunt for us

I've been quite clear that the issue stalling the deal is Anderson's end

You've said that basically you'd do what Anderson is doing, and suggested across multiple posts that the fans (those that didn't go on Saturday, those critical of FV and the mythical ones calling MJ a cunt) are somehow at fault.

If fans were actually abusing James, chanting for him to fuck off at games, then I can see how that might be a point worth raising multiple times. But this isn't that, this is relatively mild criticism of a consortium he's involved in, who have (for whatever reason) failed to get a deal over the line seven months after coming on to the scene. They may be completely blameless, but without communicating that, what do you expect?

100% of football clubs have demanding, entitled, impatient and even abusive fans. The fact that they aren't all being thrown out of the league tomorrow suggests there might be much larger factors at play, and people more deserving of stick.

Load of bollocks all over twatter ATM. People blaming everyone without having a clue who said what to whom and when or having the slightest clue what's going on. Daftest to me seems to be blaming the administrators which is like watching a boxing match and blaming the ref for it lasting 12 rounds.

Not as I’ve read it he hasn’t,  there’s plenty on here who cannot go for logistical and family reasons as has been explained earlier on this thread.  I was at the match on Saturday and there’s plenty of more loyal supporters than me and I’ve followed since 1972.

As for "King Ken" being our saviour and being "the only game in town" - he wouldn't have been if Eddie hadn't panicked and had written off the personal debt first and then  let us go into admin 3 years ago when the club still had assets and was actually worth something.

Tom - Have in your opinion any fans criticised FV ?

Have any fans said FV should stand aside ?

I’m still seeing, in other areas of online media, people saying that liquidation would be the best thing for us, start afresh, etc, etc. Unbelievable that some don’t realise how catastrophic it will be if the plug is pulled

The same administrators liquidated Coventry when admin failed, and Coventry are still going, so theres hope.

But the previous owner bought them back, cant see Ken buying us and taking us forward really

Any game going ahead depends on a number of third parties providing services. Police , stewards, turnstile operators, St. John’s ambulance , players , coaches etc etc.

All these would need to guaranteed as part of the safety certificate ( all this based on the issues we had last year)

not how this could happen.

Does he stand to gain anything if liquidated other than a chance to say fuck you to us all?

i seem to remember the forest green guy saying Anderson wouldn’t care if liquidated as will still profit (or something along those lines)

There is potentially much less chance of his actions whilst in charge being investigated.

There was a post on facemither before regarding the statue, if the club liquidates the statue should be moved to Bolton town centre

My dads stone sits proudly next to Nat as I wanted to visit him at the match every other weekend and felt it was a much better place than a cemetery. If the worst happens tomorrow I will be taking that stone tomorrow and that will break my fucking heart! Come on someone sort this shit out!

I think the Coventry liquidation was different wasn’t it as the club itself technically wasn’t liquidated. Bit like Blackpool. But I’ve not looked too closely at it.

That is very deep.  I hope your fathers stone stays exactly where it is for you and your family’s sake.

Don’t start bringing facts into this debate people want to believe what they read on Twitter.

But yes the company that was the football club was liquidated but during the take over of the club the league chairman agreed to transfer the club and golden share into a newco this the club stayed alive in that sense.

And no this won’t happen to us before anyone asks

Latest one I’ve just seen on Facebook is some company called Lovell have made a bid for the club

Everyone knows only FV paid £25k to see the books.

The deal has to be done by tomorrow (or at least funds provided).

No one else can realistically provide the money. Can they ?
