ST arrived , got covid pass as well in case its needed to get in grounds ...lets go

I’ve moved my second jab forward to Sunday just in case. Having it at BWFC, appropriately enough.

Our STs came through the post today as well. No doubt will sit unused in my wallet as I’m far more likely to forget my wallet than my phone.

Got mine

Think it's my 21st in a row

Will use it to get in instead of a mobile QR code

Dunno why

Maybe I'm regressing

I would love a book of 23 tickets to rip out and handover

A bit different in your line of business but I’m finding with many people, technology has advanced so much us older folk are saying enoughs enough of it. I’m going back to the older ways.

I just bought a new wallet

I don't need it, I don't need to carry cards round with me, I can use my phone for everything

But I'm making a point of using cards before phone

Dunno why as it's a faff

I recently upgraded my iPhone and finding Face ID is a right pain using Apple Pay in comparison to using my thumb, mainly because of mask-wearing. Proper first world problems. Still easier than remembering my wallet though.

That's quiet good for a club the size of Wigan, isn't it.

I bet half of them got in the wrong queue and wanted rugby season tickets.

This is an impressive number. Last May I thought we might be a bit more than 8000.

This football club has momentum, feels like all past sins are forgotten and everyone is on-side. Even if its an average midtable season I think people will tolerate it and we'd sell high numbers again next Summer.

In the prem, we sold around 18000 if I remember correctly. Considering what the world has gone through I reckon that's very decent for us in league one.

Be interesting if we ever saw other clubs numbers in L1

I wonder if those figures are available anywhere?

I think Wiggin are up to around 6k now after they started offering a free pie with every ticket sold. 😁

Bit old, but the average ST sales for L1 for each season between 2011-12 & 2015-16:

League One Average 3,838 4,329 4,755 4,570 4,471

Ours for the same period:

Bolton Wanderers Championship #N/A 12,793 11,827 10,851 10,541

Dont know about S/t, but our average attendance in 16/17 (L1) was 15,194. (high of 23k, low of 12k)
