when will you or your mates be back

Never left. Not going to Gillingham as I simply can't afford it as on a stag do next week. I'll be at the Bradford game on Tuesday. My dad sacked his season ticket off when we were still in the prem but has been going to more and more games these last few years and I reckon he'll get one this time around. Think it's the Coventry game/atmosphere that did it.

I don’t think most of those who’ve stopped going will return, better to bring new fans in and encourage the kids, though we’re now much smaller in numbers those still left have passion pumping through their veins and for me it was always about the passion not the numbers. Leave the saddos in the hostelries of Bolton on Saturday afternoon, fuck um.

ST last year but missed a shed load for various, often not so pleasant, reasons. Not been yet as no idea who's pocket the money would go into, but now I'll sign up for the ST again when they release them and do what I can with the 200 mile round trip. Happy to "lose" money if it propels us on to whatever extent we can be propelled as it stands. Indeed they really need to maximise ST sales right now - because unless there's ways and means of some fairly meaningful strengthening, to the extent that survival against relegation starts to be at least vaguely plausible, then the immediate novelty and buzz of being "saved" will wear off - and with the very best will in the world, attendances in the division lower will not be great. Nobody could expect otherwise; we saw that last time after all.

Did fancy Gillingham but East Midlands Trains seem to have a non-existent service to London this weekend for some reason. Twats.

From Loughborough?

Seems to be trains

not direct as normal though? Have to hoike across country and make your way to the Brum line via Leicester and Nuneaton or summat. Which can be done of course, but is a pain compared to just getting a 1.20 hr swifty down.

The dullards in the Bradshawgate pubs on Saturday afternoons will have plenty of unfathomable excuses to stay away. As they're often the kind of miserable prick who groaned when footballing royalty such as Gary Speed or Fernando Hierro misplaced a pass, their presence in this new era of BWFC won't be missed.

I'm hoping there's enough intrigue and positivity around the town to attract younger fans in - that's where the difficulty is, getting teenagers arsed about the club when City and United are on our doorstep.

I'm hoping FV shut off parts of the ground on matchday so we're huddled in with a good 'away day feel' atmosphere, and people buy into the kind of 'fuck em all' siege mentality that might actually get us dreaming of staying up.

FV's professional performance in the administration process, along with MJ's fan presence, has me feeling positive that they're going to actively try to connect with the fanbase. I'm excited about it all, genuinely excited. Until Will Buckley pings yet another cross into Row Z and I can BOOOOOOO like fuck... (OK, I'll behave)

Time to move on from those who choose not to go. It's their loss. For our true fans it's time to look ahead to better times and all the sweeter it will be for us. COYWM.

If they aren't going to get caught up in the spirit of things now then they never will. It's up to the rest of us to make sure we never again come so close to losing our club.

Still in. Hoping for a good deal on an adult child ST combo, I've got a ten month old grandson who I need to keep out of the clutch's of his 'dirty red' dad and his family. I've got it in my head that his first ever season ticket needs to be with us even if he's probably a little to young to attend just yet.
