Lack of information about what sort of cake they brought is disturbing.

Lemon drizzle cake - they're good people.

Battenburg - they're wronguns

You can bet KA brought Battenburg when he bought us - then ate it all himself.

I read that as 'Lennon drizzle cake' and started throwing things.

Thanks for the link to the interview, I'd stopped bothering with the BEN site because of all the ads.

Good to see smiling faces in that pic.

The Burnley connection is interesting, as is Nick Mason's.

Yesterday morning, Radio2 gave us a mention and played Pink Floyd's Brick In The Wall - I wonder how many downloads it would need to get back in the charts...

These are proper people. But lets not kid ourselves - we won't be scaling the championship anytime soon. If at the end of three years we're top half of league one that'll be a hell of a job. I really hope our fanbase has appropriately adjusted their expectations now.

May have missed this but what's their MO?

Is it just about the football? Or shall we expect Disneyland and casinos on the car parks?

“ I want to build a business where everyone works together cohesively to build a dynamic team where you can see the results on a Saturday afternoon. And not just the players, the whole team".

No mention of Disneyland or Casinos from Shazza. :D

Whilst it's nice to be linked to Nick Mason, and he's by no means a peasant, I can't see him stumping up millions for players etc..

He spends most of his money on cars and planes, and only wrote a few songs for Pink Floyd.

FV should have got David Gilmour on board so it's a black mark against them already I'm afraid.

lead to believe his car collection is well over 100 million, sell them all for players imo

Great read, that. So refreshing to see the optimism and, not least, recognition of the staff who have held the club together over this whole sorry episode. I've never known such unity amongst our fanbase as has been the case thus far, so fingers crossed everyone buys in to it and we can start looking forward for once.

He's not stayed worth £100million by spending it on footballers.

He owns a Ferrari GT250 he bought for £37,000 that is now worth £60million. Whilst I think he should sell it and donate the proceeds to us for players and to have the Andersons buried in concrete, he probably would disagree.

Not even expecting him though to spend million's on players this year FV have even come out saying don't be expecting us to splashing any money on transfers. Don't get why you saying it's a black mark against them? We need to sensible now building are way up that will be free transfers for probably 2 transfer windows. We still have a club & he's helped with that so I bloody thank him a lot for it!

Don't talk bollocks. Everyone knows you google someone's net worth - get a number that is always completely accurate and that is the amount of money they are going to give the club. If they don't then "booooooooooooooooo"

The vintage car market has peaked, which he knows.

Lump in throat reading that , looking forward to the journey , great to know Sharon is a local lass and knows about football.....Biggest task for them imo is getting the apathetic stayaway Bolton public to buy back in and support the club again. Surely all the excuses are invalid now?

Onwards and Upwards.

Buzzin now cant wait for season tickets and to get behind seemingly decent folk (no at all like last mon) who have saved our club and want to run it properly. New players new manager new start. Lets all get behind them no matter how hard things get and what punishment is thrown for previous misdemeanors.

COYW!!

I think it was said with his tongue bunged firmly into his cheek mate.
