Mr grey loved the decor in the bridge

Yorkshire landlady’s should not be messed with. A special Noble Peace Prize for away matches this season should be awarded to Casino. Last thing I saw was him, with his arm around said landlady. Purely in a diplomatic way of course.

On another note, Rotherham has to be one of the quietest home crowds I've come across especially for a team having a good day.  Been for last 2 seasons and they've been winning in both games and hardly heard a peep.  I always thought there was a good atmosphere at Millmoor, not so their new ground.

Yeh it's like a library, shame because it's a great little stadium imo.

Some of the numbest staff in the UK at the bars though, they made the Unibol staff look like MENSA members.

but thought Hill's post match comments had a bit of the Owen Coyle about them, still it's early doors.

uh oh.

i cant think what to think yet. As i said before , i'd back them to beat Brazil normally. But comments like this this early scare me. More than knowing we have to score six to get at least a point.

i don't know what to think.

To be fair to Hill that's part of the package.  Its like getting Holloway and not expecting him to give embarrassing interviews, or getting Warnock and not expecting to be embarrassed about how he behaves on the touchline.  Or Chris Wilder, and not expecting him to come across permanently as Mr Angry.  Its just who they are.  Hill's track record is just what we need, just take the interviews with a pinch of salt, in the grand scheme of things they mean nothing.  And purely from an interview point of view its better than having one of those foreign managers like Emery or Bielsa, not a clue what they're going on about and their lack of English kind of makes them unanswerable.

I want a manager focussed on sorting us out. Not giving interviews. But some of the stuff he’s coming out with does have an unfortunate ring of Owen Coyle to it. Nobody wants us playing the right way and losing. Needs some realism here.

Go on then - what do you expect him to say?

I'd start with,

We're obviously second best but now, with a few more senior professionals, we can work on gelling the team to play as a unit and hopefully pick up some points. Nobody ever said it'd be easy to play catch-up with the 12-point deficit plus however many points the fourth lowest other team gets while we're chasing but we'll give it our best shot and try to still be in with a shout of survival come March and April. You just never know what's going to happen. First things first though, let's try and get into positive points in the league table rather than me spouting about positive points from a 6-1 defeat.

After the match in the Bridge , was it any WW regulars getting bollocked by the landlady for trying to nab a scarf off the upper wall ( Trashmere one I think) .

Haha, you know who you are...🙄

He’s still having nightmares about her!😂
