Of course officer! Would you like names as well?

The Jolly Boys went for a Jolly Boys swallie & were informed as they went about their bar crawl that football fans were no longer welcome & the Police were clearing out pubs & sending them back to the station.

Thankfully we were Rugby fans 😂 & carried on drinking where we pleased

Alright we didn’t end up in Lincoln

had a good day though

Ah, did you find the secret bar at Worksop station?

Like Brief Encounter.

I thought it was a waxworks museum until the barmaid moved slightly.

No phones allowed!

Had a quality day out in Lincoln. Went to one pub, the bouncer was worse than thick. ‘What was the score lads?’ In what? ‘The postponed game’. It was off. Ah, we aren’t letting football fans in. Come on, there’s only 4 of us. Ok then, in you go

In Lincoln for 11, did the tourist bit up " Steep Hill " to wander round the cathedral ( which is very impressive & for future reference, there are half a dozen interesting looking pubs up there ), had fish, chips & peas but with the bodyblow of no gravy which was clearly a sign, got soaked, finally discovered the game was off, the Lincoln - Sheffield train was cancelled so had to go to Nottingham & then from there to Manc, finally back to Bolton & in the Balmoral where someone was screaming at a karaoke machine, went home to dry out & have several mugs of boiling tea.

Hill out.

Aye, it's hard to judge properly in that miserable weather, but on a reasonable day it's probably really nice, especially round the cathedral/castle,  in the middle, that Quayside ?? is a nice touch & there looks to be a good selection of pubs & eating places all over.
