One of the worst days following the Wanderers in 55 years! Reported racist bile from some of “ours” outside the ground then had more inside. Fucking pathetic some so called fans today...totally embarr

Not sure of your point here. I had a drink pre-match but didn't turn into Jimmy Ten-Men. For me, if you can't have a few beers without then wanting to fight every fucker you really ought to consider n

I really can't be arsed these days watching our away days when we're likely to sell out, we have some fooking bellend pissed up supporters who are a total embarrassment. I'd much rather travel to some

Someone launched a live chicken on the pitch with a Blackburn flag tied to it

Different games I think. The Bolton flag was the 0-0 Vaz te slip and the chicken was a 2-1 win from memory, season we went down?

Earl appeal unsuccessful.

“...denying a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent whose overall movement is towards the offender's goal...”

Not sure which bit of that they saw.

Or whether their own double- jeopardy rule was infringed

Perhaps the bit where it says "as Bolton weren't punished enough, well fuck them over however we can"

On Saturday I was shouting about the double jeopardy or triple jeopardy rule but looking into it now I'm not too sure.

http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct

If you look towards the end of that page then denying a goal scoring opportunity with pushing or pulling and no direct attempt to play the ball is still a red card, and being honest that is what it looked to me like Earl did.

But when you watch it back the turn mean the guy is actually going slightly away from goal and a player is getting back. The ball is further away from him than I thought at the time. I think by a strict interpretation of the rules you can argue red card but 99/100 he stays on the pitch.

Its not so much whether the letter of the law was correctly applied, its the fact that the same incident could happen 100 times this season up and down the country and the other 99 will get a booking at worst.  If one of our players takes a player on in the box, gets a bit of a shirt pull that is no worse than what you see at every single corner, we'd all scream for a penalty and none of us would be asking for a sending off, we'd be more than happy with a pen.

New jumper Keef? Very nice

BTW, training range now on sale, fair bit already gone 👍

I look forward to seeing our best customers strutting their stuff upto their royal box, sneering at us peasants in our cheap seats and plimsolls

Whilst supping over priced pimms and eating caviar and prawn butties.

Sorry but that's a complete load of bollocks, people would be screaming for a red card as they do at every single semi bad tackle regardless of where it is on the pitch.

I might be on my own but if one of our players is fouled in the box, in a 50/50 type situation rather than a striker well clear bearing down on goal, I'd more than settle for a pen, because 75% of the time we wouldnt get one in those types of challenges.  Screaming for a red card is more for a dangerous, aggressive sliding tackle or studs up challenge.  A red card in that Accrington situation wouldnt even enter my mind, its a pen if you're lucky on the day.
