Andy Gee
Was at the Reading match when we lost 7-1, the abiding memory was Ngog scored the last minute consolation then picked the ball out the net and ran back to the halfway line like the comeback was on. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted November 26, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted November 26, 2019 Black Sunday, Reading, Stanley, Bristol City I was at them all. Granted, I’ve only stayed to the end of the Black Sunday game
isaacunt
we got thumped 8-0 (eight) by QPR when they had that plastic pitch. remember the video printer actually printing the eight out.

Members bolty58
Black Sunday and getting gubbed 6-0 at home by Chelsea in a League Cup replay after a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge (Graham Rowe scored for us - the other one in the Henry ''Chopper' Mowbray and Peter Nicko triumvirate from Blackpool). I went to both those matches, have never seen us ship 7 in. Man Utd hurt far more. We were 6-0 down at Notts at half time so it could have been a lot worse. There was a photo of the 1,500 or so Bolton fans at Notts in a WanderersWorldwide fanzine.Seem to remember there were portacabins for bogs under the stand which weren't suitable for such a large following

Site Supporter MickyD Posted November 26, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted November 26, 2019 (edited) One of my worst defeats was away at Blackpool in a meaningless cup competition. It was a local semi final or final i think and we'd been undefeated for about around 20+ games and were massive favourites. I think it may have been the 99 points and 100 goal season. Also that season we lost 5-2 at Southend. That one pissed me off a bit too. Obviously black Sunday, Stoke City at Wembley and the Reading and Accrington defeats will be on my list too. radcliffe white
Stoke hurts the most spurs away league cup reading strangely not that arsed about Accrington or united
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 26, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted November 26, 2019 Losing the play off to Aldershot was a really low moment. Watching felgate scramble around most on one leg, there was a sense of inevitably. Thankfully, the following season was to yield the best moment ever. bolton va va
Accy was my first 7, did Notts, Bristol, Carlisle 5 or 6, Chelsea home, but black Sunday was the worst. Southend was probably the most surprising, As i remember it, there wasn't much in the game but they scored with every attack they had. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted November 26, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted November 26, 2019 To be honest, the biggest thrashing haven't been the ones which hurt the most. Aldershot and Aston Villa in the FA cup semi for me both really hurt more than Stoke or Black Sunday
