THAT game starring Robbie Savage as the evil midfielder 2-2 and 9 men

Another 2-2 another with fewer players than normal, away at Burnley (Nicky Spooner's broken leg game) I have a few Burnley mates who STILL sulk that SJM should have thrown the ball to a Burnley player... Bless!

v PNE at Cardiff

Old school :

Everton semi was the zenith after Whatmore smashed that goal in front of us all at Goodison.

Nadir when Latchford scored in front of us at the Lever End. I just couldn’t believe that we wouldn’t win.

And the floodlight popping on the Embankment became our hoped-for saviour but it was just a few bulbs.

A few, other than the obvious classics

2-2 at City 1980. Coming back from 2 down to shove their earlier taunts down their throats.

Derby (h) 1982.  What seemed like an already relegated Wanderers, snatching a late 3-2 victory and giving us a glimmer of hope that we could stay up.

Sheff U (h) 1984. Ruining their big day out with our first win in weeks. 3-1 win.

Wigan (a) 1986 FRT area final 1st leg. Caldwell's late winner and the madness in the away end. Limbs!

Burnley (a) 1993 SJMs diving header finally breaking the deadlock after we'd played them off the park.

Wolves (h) 1995 & 1998(?).  Humiliating them 5-1 then 3-0 in the league games.

City (a) 2005(?) The late smash and grab.  An absolute piss take of a result after the battering we'd taken.

Wycombe and Coventry this season.  Just to be playing footy again after a horrendous few months.

Never thought Munich would be bettered and I suppose stature wise it won't be, but I've never ever felt happier watching us than being on that pitch after Forest. The goal celebration, the pitch invasion, the night out round a baking hot Horwich after. Pinnacle.

Too many to remember similar to the depressed thread but last proper one was forest. I think I passed out when we scored the 3rd goal

Too pick a random one that I don’t think anyone else would choose beating Spurs 1-0 at WHL when Jay Jay ran the show. Missed the first 30 minutes as police intelligence seemed to think I was a Hoolie and I was given a personal escort to the game and frog marched off the train.

v Reading play off final, nothing even comes close for me, apart from Hull, and Old Traf and Anfield and Highbury and Goodison 😂

Yes all them plus Blackburn 1978 as you say

I would add all the away European games I went to even when we lost but the memories of walking in the square at Guimaraes and seeing it crammed with Bolton and all the flags was something else.

Older ones including beating city 3-0 in the League Cup - that red scum 3-0 on the Friday night game and Preston on Sir Roger Hunts debut.

Recent Port Vale when that first goal went in
