Correct just looked

beat them away season after 2-1 with pedersen scoring

had a good record home & away against them for a few seasons

aye, we def had the better of them in the top 8 finishing seasons

had a look overall and it's fairly even from 01 to 12:

P: 22

W: 9

D : 4

L: 9

but no luck in the cups: played 4, lost 4 (well, unless you count the muamba game as a draw)

Funnily enough one game that made me feel fantastic was a United win. The one at Ipswich in 2002 that guaranteed our survival in the top flight and meant a second successive season in tier 1 for the first time since 1979/80.

Other than that:

Getting promoted at Blackburn in 1978; beating Sheff Weds on the last day of 81/2 to survive in Div 2; Beating Wigan over two legs to get to Wembley in 86. Wrexham to get promoted in 88 was a terrific feeling. Just couldn't believe something had gone right for BWFC after so many years of shit. Clinching another Wembley trip at Bloomfield Road in 1989 as well.

Derby wins I've really enjoyed for whatever reason - the 2-1 win at home to Burnley in Div 4; a number of wins at Ewood including the 3-4 in 2004 when we'd been 3-1 down and the two 0-1 wins - one when Dioufy dived and the other when Jussi saved two pens. Hammering the cunts 4-0 at the Reebok a few years ago was also a pleasure along with 2-1 when Heskey scored and 1-0 with Eagles in the last minute. Big mention for Stuart Holden's winner straight after they'd equalised in 2010 (2-1).

Always enjoy beating Blackpool and the 3-0 hammering we gave them at Burnden at the start of Rioch's era was a good one. Enjoyed each of our 1-3 wins at Wigan - two in the Prem and one in 86 when they'd gone something like 40 games unbeaten at home and we were shit away. That was a very unlikely result.

More recently I enjoyed the 0-2 win at Bury given we hadn't won a league game there in my lifetime.

Quick mentions for Bolton 1 Charlton 0 in the FA Cup Quarter Final of 2000; Leicester 1 Bolton 5, any win at Old Trafford, Everton 0 Bolton 4. I could go on....

Agree with all of the above, I'd add that games when we've stopped the rot after not winning for bloody ages always make me feel elated.  One was Bristol City at Burnden in about 1990 when Greeny scored the winner and they brought about 3,000 expecting to celebrate promotion.  That game effectively put us in the play offs after we seemed to have blown it.

There have been lots & it maybe that it was fairly recent,   I've never ever felt happier watching us than being on that pitch after Forest. The goal celebration, the pitch invasion,

There have been loads of highs, & it may be that it was the most recent, but I don't think i've ever been more elated or over excited than at the Forest match

Difficult to choose one  -  in date order would be between

1976 Derby Away in League Cup

1977 Everton away in the League Cup

1978 Blackburn Rovers Promotion

1993 FA CUP  Liverpool

1994 FA CUP Arsenal

1995 Reading Play offs

2003 West Ham

Probably Blackburn wins it for me -  it meant so much

and there are the ones that miss the shortlist - promotion at Wrexham , Play offs v Wolves and at Ipswich , winning at Old Trafford , promotion at Maine Road , Sunny beach and our first taste of Europe , getting to a major Wembley final after beating Swindon and an odd one - Burnley away-  night match 1976/77 first league game at turf moor between us in a generation - a superb atmosphere that night and we showed them who were the bigger club

and   For the unexpected that I never saw coming -  5 nil Leicester away opening day of season

Opening-day shocks: Bolton flummox Foxes

Joyce v Bristol City!!  Night match, lost 4-1, loads of negativity, you're not fit to wear the shirt etc, and the crowd chanting for Warren Joyce, his best performance in a white shirt.

Definitely his first goal and the first airing of "Greeny".  Not to be confused with "Reevesy" at the time. Great player for us Greeny considering he was signed from Derby reserves with no fanfare.  Ended up playing games in the Prem and scoring that wonderful header v Southampton.  I'll add that Southampton cup game to the list, 2-2 at a packed Burnden when we were in Div 1 after being 2 down.

Also West Ham 1 nil win at home Okocha screamer was a good day.

Edit saw Leyther Matt beat me to West ham.

THAT game starring Robbie Savage as the evil midfielder 2-2 and 9 men

Another 2-2 another with fewer players than normal, away at Burnley (Nicky Spooner's broken leg game) I have a few Burnley mates who STILL sulk that SJM should have thrown the ball to a Burnley player... Bless!

v PNE at Cardiff

?

Actually, another one that made me feel good was Sheff Wed away when Mark Davies scored that screamer to win. Went on kids ‘n’ flids with the youngest. Was front row of the Leppings Lane stand when that bloke ran down the steps celebrating and flipped right over the railing into the lower tier. Honestly thought he was dead
