Site Supporter MickyD Posted April 6, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted April 6, 2020 My laptop (windows 10) has suddenly decided it would rather auto connect to a Sky account rather than my Virgin account. I assume the Sky account belongs to a neighbour who is a copper so I'd rather not be hacking into his provider. How, to a complete computer numptyhead, do you tell your laptop to ignore the Sky and connect to the Virgin? Wifi is fine with all other devices. Escobarp
Bottom right click on the WiFi icon. When it brings up the list of networks and the one it keeps connecting to click on properties. then turn off the connect automatically toggle. This should fix it

Site Supporter MickyD Posted April 6, 2020 Author Site Supporter Share Posted April 6, 2020 It isn't even identifying my network. Tried turning things on and off. Only thing that's changed is my lad is working from home and has a works laptop.
