See, I can’t wait to play the games and get the season over with. I’ll do the games but I wouldn’t mind if they played all the youngsters again, like earlier in the season. At least we didn’t have false hopes that we would win a game. I want next season to begin. It’s the start of our comeback. 🤞

I can’t quite figure it out as it’s 7/8 hour round trip for a home game but I started watching us playing the likes of crewe etc so it’s sort of seeming like a good idea for a strange reason. I’m hoping I come to my senses shortly
Mounts Kipper
I’m not missing the games at all, mind you if we were near the top of league and pushing for play offs or promotion I’d be gutted, this season can fuck right off for me expunge the records and wrap it up ASAP. Leeds made a £21m loss, I’d be feeling pretty sick if I was them and the league gets binned. Fuck em

Fuck em That was last season and they’ve continued along the same lines this from what I can see. If this gets binned they could be in trouble that said they are going to be challenging FFP and would claim special circumstances With loss of income etc

Fuck em Tricky one this. No one asked them to rack up a loss. This is a freak of nature season. I suppose I’d have a bit of sympathy. Another example of finances dictating priority though. Meh. Mounts Kipper
Did anyone see Readings wage bill last season over 200% of income, going to be some clubs folding in the upcoming months, hope and pray we can survive. If they didn’t go up they were facing administration. The EFL need 56 days to complete the league. They need to resume by May to then complete then have a long enough pre-season and a transfer window. Might be the case of them knocking a few cups on the head. Wanderlust
I miss the tension of hoping that "this is the week we start playing really well" every Saturday afternoon. And I miss football on the telly. Apart from when Guy Mowbray is commentating - sounds authoritative but is obviously blind as a bat. Really? Fookin ell. All the warnings about not going beyond 65/70% (?) a few years ago. As premier league wages have gone up the championship has obviously gone madder trying to keep pace. I'm not that familiar with Reading these days. Do they even have some outstanding talents on their books that they can flog on?

Absolutely I’d be there. If social distancing was still in place then I’d be staying away. It was obviously on our minds to an extent at the time as most of us mentioned on the absence of people wearing masks etc, but I reckon we were just about early enough. Madrid coming to Liverpool the following midweek was madness though.

ErnestTurnip
Ignoring the state of things on the pitch I was kind of enjoying this season as it might be my last full one with the eldest for a while depending on if he moves a long way for college and next season might even end up being a solo one at this rate. He's not a shit fan like me and has consistently gone all his life so it's a bitter sweet thing for him as well it fizzling out like this. I'm not interested in the remaining pointless fixtures......obv i'd feel differently if we had something to play for.

If it is declared void then we’ll have to do it all over again, most likely with the -12 again. Would much rather they relegated us.
