I need some wood for the fire

Im not getting through the weekend

Range is prob easiest

Gonna go for the 245 run at it

I told you I'd drop some scraps off if you need some.

Don't risk going out for something you're going to set fire too!

I've got to nip out to deliver a prescription so can do a drive by shooting style log lob from a side door. :)

Today is gonna be the worst shopping day EVER!

Yesterday was bad, I queued half an hour to get in one shop, today is gonna be awful as everyone wants to stock up for the bank hol weekend.

my advice, don’t bother.

Tesco Horwich already queueing round the car park

30 minute queue to get in Tesco Middlebrook, the place is rammed with biddies many of whom don’t understand the one way system. I thought oldie hour was 9 till 10? A lot of patience was required & i had to keep reminding myself that Harold & Edna don’t want to be running out of custard creams - especially over Easter.

They've probably been in there since 9.

Probably my 'housebound' patients. Little sods don't understand that managing to get to tesco and the hairdressers meant you actually aren't housebound.

Wife nipped to our local Asda for some essential "bits", also got me a case of Guinness and some chocolate hob nobs, so I was very pleased.

She didn't get pork scratchings, though, so I'll have to send her out again tomorrow.

Rather than having a set hour or whatever for NHS staff, which doesn't work for those on duty, why not have a system where NHS staff can just go to the front of the queue to get in and when they've shopped jump the till queue?

Nobody would begrudge then that, surely?

Aldi let us NHS staff jump the queue to get in.
I’m having a word with the local Waitrose about a similar scheme.

A woman behind me complained to security letting an elderly dear on a walker through without queuing. People are cunts.

Good luck, they should do it.

My Mrs is NHS

She isn't coal face so doesn't use it (she just sends me as a furlough wanker)

There's plenty NHS who don't need the fast track and plenty others who do

I feel for the supermarkets, I really do

Yeah, supermarket staff at massive risk for £9 an hour.

Not belittling the fine efforts of our magnificent NHS, but they expect to have to deal with contagious people. Doris on the till at Morrisons didn't sign up for that.

There’s going to be something done for the key front line workers when this is over and rightly so. what shape that takes is anyone’s guess. It has to be something tangible though and they’ve earned every penny whatever form it takes. Heroes to a man and woman

Missus been moaning about wanting the washing machine declogged so she could do a mega clean this weekend.

Made the mistake of calling at our local Bunnings (similar to B&Q and other hardware superstores) for some CLR on the way home from work last night. Queue all through the airport style snake path and once around the building. Bird out front with a counter letting one in when one comes out. Place is the size of Heath fucking row.

Fuck that, she'll have to wait.
