Tutte reads the game very well. While unspectacular, he swept up behind the back 3 a few times and broke up play a lot, first half especially.

For me, if he stays fit/gets fitter, I’d rather Crawford drop deeper as he’s better at picking a pass than Sarce and Sarce pushes forward as he’s a better finisher.

Slowly, slowly starting to see signs of the plan. A long way to go yet but it’s on its way

be as angry as he fucking wants but theres ways of dealing with it

And on the last bit, bollocks

Ian Evatt on Billy Crellin: “He’s a fantastic goalkeeper but we can’t afford him keep making mistakes...this is me saying to him publicly ‘man up’...this is a man’s game, 3 points are at stake and my team deserved to win today” #bwfc

I’m agreeing with the large majority of things you are saying. And it’s great we are back being positive again.

However last couple of games Sarcevic has been everywhere, breaking up play in the middle, up top scoring goals and in our box stopping their chances, I think this is his game.

I suppose I’m saying if one of them is doing the pushing forward when we’re attacking and 1 has to hang back a bit as an insurance, Sarce is the one to push.

He looks fitter/more confident than he has done. I reckon there’s still a bit more to come too.

I don’t like that personally. Sounds like Evatt putting his own ego before his player’s mentality, which isn’t good IMO

However, it all depends on the reaction from the keeper as to if it’s the right thing or not

He’s surely spoken to Gilks before coming out with it to assess his character to see if he responds to it?

Said sarcevic will come strong

I said first game of the season I could imagine him scoring goals ala Nolan but for me Tutte’s work today has “allowed him to shine” and I’d give them both credit.

I’d been disappointed in Sarc so far so great to see him have a really positive week

Lets kick on now; you never know, play offs could be on! 😃

Possibly, but he's publicly criticised his players and had to row back on it in the days after at least twice. I think it's more likely he can't keep his frustration in check in the immediate aftermath. It doesn't help that results have put him under so much pressure so early on in his time here.

Time to call out some irrational posts, from irrational posters who just seem to be waiting for something negative to talk about. While things are going well and while there’s lots of positives to take, they’re only interested in finding something negative to post about.

Of course I'm irrational,  I'm a football fan 😀.

Good today, hopefully 3 points from Bradford.

(In spite of baptiste 😛)

Come across like it’s just his chimp coming out to me

Hopefully it’s a learning process for him just like the players

Ive got a really good feeling after today; been some inexplicable decisions this season so far, but ai think (hope) he is one to learn and progress...

Got to admit Brockbank proved me wrong today well done good performance should  have won but for Crellins howler .

Agree with others regarding Santos,Sarevic,Tutte however Baptiste worries me.

Crawford will come good and Delaney proving to be a good defender.

Me too.

Amongst the horror show that was our start to the season, there have been some promising signs. It's still early days but he's turned Santos' performances around completely by moving him central, I think so far he's made the right call in putting Brockbank on the left ahead of Gordon and Mascoll, he's abandoned asking his centre-halves to push on to the halfway line because it wasn't working, and Kioso looks a good'un. It looks like he's starting to realise who he can and can't trust as well.

At least we know IE is on the same page as we are. Some of us doubted the way he called the players out after Oldham, they responded well with character in the Barrow come-back.

Personally I agree - it wouldn’t be my style to call out players, especially young ones out like this. But in this modern world now, with social media, criticism is out there, you can’t avoid it. (Just look on here!)  Maybe IE plays this out in a reverse psychology way, admits what we all know publically, but personally/privately he’s right behind him.

He’s getting to know his players now, better than we do, maybe he’ll come out a better player from experiences like this.

Hopefully we can keep picking up a few results and then push on during November and early December when we come up against Mansfield, Stevenage, Scunthorpe, Southend. Get to the New Year in the upper half of the table and push on from there.

Next job - pick up some home wins.
