4 clean sheets in 5 now since Crellin was told to focus on Minecraft

not just the shot stopping from Gilks. Communication and organisation is key too. Back 3 look far more comfortable and confident

We all called it for weeks but Evatt stuck with him. Speaks volumes what a change of keeper has had, the whole team are filled with confidence

Still not finishing some great moves off and making things more comfortable.

Possible signs of 3 games in 8 days; Santos stretching at the end for example.

Crawford frustrating again, missed Tutte, Fonz better than I've seen him, Doyle looked sharp.

Two lads on the right looking really impressive together, a pity that Jones doesn't have a left foot to balance that side, but he still does a good job.

Some credit to Southend; worked hard and made it difficult, but perhaps ran out of steam late on.

Well done, have a rest and go again.

That's the key for me - the constant talking and organisation

Perhaps we should pray for no return of crowds up here :D

Not our best performance but did enough. Southend I thought were crap 1st half. Had a couple of chances early on in 2nd half but to me, it felt like playing a team a division or 2 below us in the cup.

Did we deserve to win by 3, probably not. Are we 3 better than them - absolutely.

Won at a canter in the end without having to go above 3rd gear. A good habit to have

I think finally "seeing a team off" comfortably in the end, even if the middle 40 mins was wobbly (and it was, no matter what the final score), will do us wonders

Especially ahead of being against a club struggling like them

It's another new achievement for this team and we are constantly learning

Fantastic to see and great feeling

Mate it’s good

previously it was long shit week at work and crap football to top it off at weekend but now all is good👍

Looked like a knee twist/ligament job to me - hope I’m wrong and he’s back soon. I noticed that when he was down injured he pointed at the pitch a couple of times.

There’s not much give on that pitch, rock hard when you stand on it. Any coincidence we’ve had plenty of injuries over the years? To me, it needs an inch of soil on it before the pitch level

Never understand how you can be offside after the keeper makes a save if you weren't before?? Ah well, who cares when you're winning 3 nil.

If ball goes in, players in an offside position but not interfering with play are deemed not offside. As soon as keeper saves though, the same players are deemed to be interfering.

40 quid win makes it doubly pleasing...thats 8 cans  :)

Had -2 and -3 so it couldve been so much better

My lad had a a tenner at -3 and I told him to have a bit at -2 as a bit of insurance. I think he won £55 but would have got £125 with one of those disallowed goals.

For all his weaknesses, at times White was showing for a pass, but there didn't seem to be too much movement in front of him. Southend worked hard too.

More joy working it wide, especially on the right.

Henshaw might get some stick, but his observation about the wide centre half carrying the ball and setting things in motion was right. Exemplified by Baptiste being such a threat.

Not convinced by Kioso defensively.

Really? One of our best players this season imo & we’ll really miss him if he ends up going back to Luton. His game is all about getting forward, if we keep scoring more goals than the the opposition, I’m not too arsed how he defends. If i was to be picky, it’s Delaney I’m not convinced by.

Ian Evatt confirmed Shaun Miller tore his thigh muscle in training yesterday and Andrew Tutte also injured his thigh #bwfc

That’s bad news, hopefully Tutte not as serious. We seem to have had more than our fair share the last few years.
