Looks like it, though I’m sure your interpretation of graphs is at least as good as mine

I got a vaccination invite by text at 14.04 today, giving a choice of 2 venues. Chose one and was then given a selection of slots for next Wednesday or Thursday. Chose a convenient one for Thursday an

My missus volunteered to help out at Leigh Sports Village, she is doing Tuesday 08.00 until 12.30,

No vax, no oxygen when you catch it. Simple solution.

Aye, I just think coppers are going to have to get close and personal with folk who've not had, or refused to, have the vaccine

At least manufacturing, and teachers, can impose and follow rules to ensure distancing and keep things sensible

Cops may not have much choice if they are to do their jobs properly

No issue for me if they get bumped up the list

Lots of folk have no control over distancing at work

On another matter, bloke called LBC yesterday, his 80 year old mum hasn't been done but his 24 year old daughter who works for the NHS has

She works from home ffs and isn't clinically vulnerable

That is a admin mistake surely, she isn't front line staff?

That said, different areas are dealing with the immunisations better than others by the sounds of it

That could easily happen. The form I filled in today just asked me to prove I was a health care worker or social care worker with my ID badge. But it did also say that if you can work from home you are not eligible, so I reckon that blokes daughter is taking liberties.

On another note, if 4 and half million have been done surely that covers all the over 80s.

It is possible she was 'in the building' at the end of the day and some vaccine needed using. It has happened and those doing it have been encouraged to ensure none goes to waste.

And yes, even if wfh, she could have got a call to pop down.

Exactly, these single anecdotal reports being reported are not widespread or normal.

Problem is, folk are pissed off with it all so the Government gets it in the neck (some absolutely deserved though) and so do all agencys involved.

I think we need to chill our boots a little, this for me seems to be the one thing we are getting right!

We are doing ok

Well, in fact

Mainly because the politicians aren't overly involved

Such as?

Our local Waitrose has shut for two weeks as too many staff got it or are isolating, but folk can shop somewhere else, so it's for the best

I'd hate to think we have less police on the streets because they caught it breaking up a lock in at the bottom bull or dealing with someone pretending they were exempt from wearing a mask

I think anyone frontline or public service should be up there

My daughter is going through a Winnie the Pooh stage where I'm subjected to it constantly

This song, The Backson, it sort of gets relevant and apt if you hear The Vaccine instead

Well, it amuses me anyway

Day 7 after my jab and not a drop of alcohol has passed my lips.

Thank god the pubs are closed.

Fuckin hell - it turns you teetotal?

Still, glad to see they're prioritising the over 80s 🙂

You know me better than that Satan. It's just that there are so many mixed messages about alcohol diluting the effect of the jab that I thought I'd abstain for a while.

Never did drink much at home so not too difficult but I'd never have reached seven days if the pubs were open.
