Not sure if it's because I'm just walking now more than I've done since I was a kid, but the amount of dog shit I'm seeing on pavements is ridiculous.

Literally have to watch wherever I'm walking so I don't stand in any.  The worst area is between the top of New Hall Lane and the Doffcocker pub. In fact, this morning there is a freshly laid pile slap bang in the middle of the pavement outside the pub.  Someone is going to be mightily pissed off if they step in that, it's going to take more than a knife over the kitchen sink to get that off.

I thought folk were generally more responsible when it comes to their dogs' shit these days?  I dunno, or maybe all the shit I'm seeing is just one rogue owner - and if it is I'm gonna rub his/her nose in it if I catch them.

Mate its absolutely outrageous. Weve gone back to how it was in the 80's.

Spend all day dodging the stuff. My mrs says some cunt leaves it every night outside our kids school on a bit of a blind spot.

Horrible bastards.

I dont understand the ones who bag it up and leave it. Surely you've done the hard bit picking it up. Put it in a bin you dirty bastards.

Aye, dirty fuckers decorating trees and fences with poo bags. They'd be better off just leaving it on the floor.

Still nowhere near Madrid for shit pavements.

Someone's been letting theirs go in our front garden, about 7/8 piles of it that weren't there when we moved in.

Assuming some lazy git with an extender lead, if I catch him ill rub his nose in it!

I’ve caught a few people recently, took their picture in anticipation of them not picking it up, shouted them back when they didn’t.

TBF I look like I just like taking pictures of dogs shitting

I was walking mine the other night and some round shouldered teenager was pulling his dog along ahead of me. Dog has a shit, lad is trying to stop him, then starts to skulk away hoping no one has seen it.

I had. So I shouted after him that he’d forgotten to clean up the shit “not got any bags mate”

”it’s ok” I replied “ I have plenty”

so he keeps moving off, I walk up beside him with a poo bag and suggest he picks it up.

It was a glorious sight watching him retch as he mashed the turds into a bag.

The cunt.

I saw a girl the other day trying to clean up after her bulldog. It had dolloped what looked like a chicken korma on the pavement, she was scooping it up with her cupped hands.

On the other hand, not literally, loads of fuckers with dogs returning home day in, day out with no poo bags in their hands. Do the math.

I always prefer getting home without any shitbags in my hand but there are plenty of bins round my walking areas - or if people are too lazy to take their wheelie bins away, i'll pop a big in their bin.

We've loads of dog poo bins around here, so fortunately, I don't think I can remember the last time I saw a dog turd on the pavement.

As a responsible dog owner, I always clean up after the mutt, but if I know it's a bit of a trek to the nearest bin, then I generally like to tie the steaming poo bag to a tree branch, so it looks like a little festive poo bauble, to cheer up other people who might be out for a stroll

Nowhere near as bad as it used to be before doggers were asked to pick it up.

Out of interest, which is worst for the world;

Dog Shit left on the ground, which, apparently, can lead to kids dying (how many died from it?)

or

Damage to the environment caused by single use plastic?

My dog used to plop in installments on our walks.

An a short, early, almost cursory plop.

A second and altogether lengthier affair around 10 minutes in. The main bulk.

A third which followed shortly thereafter and was often of a runnier consistency requiring the cupping technique described above.

The trick was to try and get her back home and on the flags before plop 3 as it often needed to be hosed down.

Also - never give a dog sweetcorn!

I saw a woman having a shit n Bolton town centre not that long ago.

I doubt she picked it up, so can we all stop being so quick to place the blame on dogs

Single use plastic, but I presume if you're referring to poo bags, then they're bio-degradable, so not too much of an issue

if there is on thing that is worse than not cleaning up your dog shit, it's putting it in a bag then tying the bag to a fucking branch

Does it degrade when hung on a fence?
