in a game we needed to win we start off with sideways pass  up to half way then all the way tippy tap back to the goalie , this went on up to when we scored , then it got slightly better . Overall they were the  better team . This football evatt is giving us is crap .

Enlighten me with one positive thing Jackson did. Makes Comley look like Mr positive.

All midfield players and defenders found it difficult at first to get the ball forward.

They were much better than orient, and set up well.

I'd rather he keep it alive rather than chipping sand wedges to no one.

He wasn't as negative as you make out, and is a solid defender. Neither full backs got forward as much tonight, that doesn't make them suddenly shit.

He is another young player, and still a cut above any previous incumbents, and the defence looks solid with him there.

I’d like to see it again but Doyle looked knackered by then so could well be he didn’t have the legs to do so

We’re gonna have to give him a rest soon

He’d held back to create some space as the defender had gone to the front post. I can understand why Jones put the ball there, but if he looked up and saw Doyle then he’d have just had to have pulled his cross back 3 or 4 yards and Doyle scores.

Doyle is immense. I knew he’d score goals but I didn’t expect his work rate or attitude - he’s a proper leader and I’m glad that we’ll have him leading the line next year.

Aye not knocking Doyle at all, just not sure I blame Jones for it

Nah, look at it

He cant see

And anyway  :) im allowed to guess

Hes not

We can guess from 10 miles away, but he can't see? :)

He has also got a linesman to listen to if needed.

Might have been a little harsh, but those types of challenges (jumping in) are extremely risky, even if studs are down. Just how things are now.

That’s what I thought initially. I noticed after Doyle was gassing so then thought maybe he didn’t have the legs. I suspect you’re right but I’d like to see it again

I thought the subs were good subs to make. We certainly looked a lot more potent, if a little too gung-ho possibly.

Maddison's challenge was a daft one. Red card may be a little harsh but I wasn't surprised to see him reach for his back pocket.

Disappointing to see us, once again, concede from a free header, but I could sense it coming.

West Ham lad looks very exciting. A big upgrade on Arthur.

I'd say an even bigger upgrade on Isgrove.  Arthur seems to have an impact every time he plays, but not destined to be a mainstay of the team.

Probably Should of started with them, or got them on earlier, first half we were passive, second half we were on top and comfortable when he brought them on. Realise it’s tough call but he’s got to start getting more calls right than wrong.

If Maddison doesn't get sent off I reckon its the right call.

Maybe. Arthur more of a sub for me though, coming on against tired legs.

Still got a fully fit Sarcs and Lee to come in to that lot tonight.

Its all going to be fine folks...

I think it’s probably too late for this year

If we could start the beginning of the season with this squad now I’d be very confident

How much of the squad can we keep together?

You can play the red card as slowly as you want, but live it looked bad and he  seemed to go off his feet. When your own commentators are hoping for a yellow it ain't good

He also puts himself in that position by playing the ball against the bloke when we he is taking a free kick and them both lunging for the ball .

He as held is hands up so fair play to him for that

Correct. We are improving on the quality within the squad and will continue to do that over the next 12 months

So is John and look what he showed in 15 minutes. I don’t dislike Jackson, just wish he was more positive and didn’t keep going back. Thought he was poor tonight.

Agree with you on Jackson, not one of his better games tonight, loves a pass back to Gilks.
