Considering its a different division, some of our fixtures from Feb onwards are a reminder of the last promotion when we also went on a charge at this stage.  Big away games at the time at Bradford, Southend, Oldham and Vale, same again now.  These should have been some memorable away days.

Thinking back to that time, it's clear Evatt has achieved something.  He's instilled confidence in the supporters that wasnt around on that last promotion run in.  These days this forum reads like a Man City one probably does !

  • The title was changed to Port Vale (A)

Evatt decides to rest everyone else and just plays Darcy to cover all positions. We win handsomely,  but Darcy is unable to keep a clean sheet due to Marcus Maddison whose snoring from the touchline, after another late night, distracts him. This was in the 95th minute though and he was showing some signs of fatigue

2-0 to them.  Thomason comes on at 0-0, misses an open net and then scores two own goals.

Evatt got MOTM

Santos POTM

Which means we lose 5-0 and Santos fractures his ankle

You’re both dicks

It would be interesting to see the iFollow numbers for this game. With our winning run it must be encouraging more and more fans to watch and support the club financially by purchasing a pass?

These were published early season, I know Bradford had about 3500 for their game at Newport apparently. Be interesting to see our numbers.
