I’m not one to fall in line. I have my own mind.  YES we are in good form but there are things we should look to improve on

You absolutely can have your own thoughts and opinions on here but your opener yesterday, immediately after an 11th win in a 13 game unbeaten run was

Anybody else worried about the level of performance in recent weeks. Let’s be honest, today we were poor in possession and going forward. I’d like to see us put games to bed

You didn’t actually give an opinion you asked a question. (Despite not adding a question mark)

The fact many users don’t agree a team relying on a single goal is necessarily a poor performance is your issue here. Plenty on here are very much glass half full rather than half empty supporters. We’ve seen shit seasons and great seasons and everything between. This season looks like becoming a great season but it certainly didn’t commence as one. December and January would’ve generated a lot more posts agreeing with you.

No we don't. We win every game 1-0 between now and the end of the season and we go up as champions.  Now's not the time for trying to turn 1-0 wins into 3-0 ones.  The system works. Don't pi

@Whitesince63 quite!

And if we have a squad littered with players who should be playing at a higher level, as per quotes from virtually every opposition manager. Adding them to the best striker in the division, and a possession based philosophy; we should be able to punish teams more than we are.

Lets look at the last 13 games

By being more offensive the maximum extra points we could've gained is 4

Is it really worth the risk?

This might well be the highest points any bolton team has gathered from 13 consecutive games and thats why i believe any criticism is crackers

If John connects properly with that clear sight of goal and the Dapo penalty is given then we win 3-0 and it’s a romp. We look a threat and we’re winning games. Can’t say fairer than that.

Watched the extended highlights on EFL ifollow, definitely a penalty on Dapo, and the ref had a good view of it. It was more of a pen than Kieran Lee's against Walsall last week, which was very soft.

Anyway we won and that's all that matters.

I’ve been an avid supporter of Evatt from day on, it was always clear that we would move in the right direction eventually

Bear in mind 2 of the dropped points came in a game were comfortable in , bought attacking options on and dropped points. Due to a reffing mistake.
I have no problem saying we could do things different , but as you say this is a risk

People seem to be saying we go defensive but we don't really, look at the chance John had yesterday. Left back turning up on edge of penalty area.

So would everyone else. What others are saying is that if that happens great, but changing things comes with a risk.
You said yesterday you want more going fwad from Lee, he has been outstanding.

Some of the comments on here baffle me for several seasons I have hated football sick of seeing us lose going a goal down and then expecting us to lose.

Leaving home games early because we are losing and knowing we are not getting back in the game.

Even early in the season it was shit I for 1 slated IE but he as proven me wrong I see group of players who give a shit and never give up a manager who also gives a shit directors who give a shit.

Enjoy as I am  doing being a wanderer its brilliant not felt like this for years so I dont care if we only win 1-0 it's a win you get nothing for losing 5-3 !

On another note  son bought me a book it's called Remember when and it's full of of newspaper reports of our matches from the 1920s to 2020 if you haven't got 1 get 1 its brilliant looking at the past great birthday or xmas present comes in a presentation box .

Yep, it’s fantastic.

I was bought that book at Christmas. She won’t tell me how much it cost though...

Really enjoyed reading about the 1920s. The West Ham cup final in particular. Looking at the attendances, we clearly were a massive deal.

Agreed, I got it as a present a couple of years ago, a great read and keepsake.  And because its all reproductions of newspapers sports pages, you get other stuff too that adds a bit of context, other match reports and news etc.

It was on that MEN report further up the thread, and yes includes all EFL clubs

And according to a report in the Daily Telegraph this week, Wanderers boasts the fifth highest number of subscribers over iFollow in the entire EFL, comprising the Championship, League One and League Two.

Maybe the fact that season ticket holders get free home games helps to boost our viewing figures?

But yet you carry on, let it go, and enjoy the run.

I’m enjoying it as much as everybody else, I just hope we can improve on certain things because in football you get bit in the arse eventually.
