Never saw him play

Saw him at the RMI sportsman dinner and on celebrity come dine with me, wearing the same jacket

"Lads lads shush lads, am I facing the right way here?"

RIP

Top top man, really sad news.

One of our greatest ever.

I wore a headband for a short while because of him. He is forgiven.

I remember the day we signed him from Leicester and all the times at Burnden.

He and others opened a schools all weather pitches up Jonny Fold when he was manager at Tranmere. About that time there were rumours of them moving Rovers to Wales. When I asked him he just replied 'Bollocks, I'm not going to Wales.'

I used to go to Tranmere sometimes when they played Friday night and always got a wave.

RIP Big FRank.

Such sad news.

He gave us at least three iconic moments in our history.

OT away.

THAT goal.

Best of all, the winner at Ewood.

RIP Frank - true Wanderers legend.

You are forgetting - the double double against that lot - especially the injury time winner!!!!

He was a fantastic team player too. Remember watching us play Oldham at Boundary Park. It's one of the most exposed grounds and it was blowing a gale. The flight of the ball must have been very difficult to judge. Up front he never gave it away once. Head, chest, thigh, feet (or left foot to be exact) he brought it down and never gave it away once.

Fantastic goal at QPR is still in my memory.

I'm actually teary eyed. The first BIG "you cannot be serious" signing I recall.

A player who made it OK to be a Bolton fan again.

Graceland's awaits you Frankie. Go & be disgraceful there.

RIP Frank Stewart Worthington.

Gutted.   RIP Frank.  Never forgotten.

Responsible for 3 of my top 10 Wanderers moments.

That Goal v Ipswich

The brace in our win at Old Trafford in 1979

The Goal at Blackburn in 1978

Privileged to have witnessed them all.
