They're not exactly unheard of this lot.

I spent March 2020 until our recent promotion push just watching Bolton and that's it. Not even looking at results in our league let alone other leagues.

Couldn't tell you more than 10% of prem players.

Centre Midfield, Its were England are definitely lacking. We may have some talented players, unfortunately not in that position.

Southgate needs to build his team around Foden and Kane, if he can't see that he's a clueless fool.

Oh, hello Pep

I see similar patterns and shape in Englands play to what IE is attempting to achieve, except Englands players are faster, fitter, sharper mentally and have more skill obvs.

Aye, can see that

Used to play for Birmingham didnt he - and they retired his shirt number when he left for some German team

Aye, weird one that, less than 40 games in the championship at 16/17, Dortmund signed him for £25m potentially up to £40m, Birmingham retired his #22 shirt

Started 6 champions league matches in his career.

A 17, irrespective of whether he is good enough, it was still a surprise to see him make his debut.

Did well.

Indeed, all his games have come in the last 2/3 months.

Im more surprised that people have never heard of him. He is playing at a higher level than most of the rest of the current England squad.

I heard of him when he moved to Dortmund and the shirt retirement and all that

not really paid much attention to the CL this season, and not at all to Bundesliga, so dunno how he's doing

Didn't they retire his shirt because the transfer fee saved the club from going bust?

they retired it but dunno if it was to do with the fee

though it's a pointless gesture these days, who cares if a Birmingham player wears #22 ever again!?
