Exeter City - Home

The day the nightmare ends.

middlebrook heaving with tailgate parties and jubilant fans

Massive celebrations by Nat’s statue

A long long overdue reason to celebrate something genuinely incredible given years of disappointment.

Or a damp squib that brings out the misery-hungry naysayers?

You can not have watched us much in last 7-8 years if you think this lot have no fight.

Why because I have a different opinion to you squire ?

Are we not allowed to have opinions if they differ from yours ?

Cambridge.

Draw today and next week, Cambridge lose next week, we go above them.

Morecambe:

Draw next week, we need to draw, we could have lost and gone up.

That goal was massive.

Not really pointless having an extra point ? As it stands we have to win next week , with that extra point a draw could have been enough.

No it couldnt! We have to win anyway! a draw would have took us to 77 points, Morecambe win next week they would have 78!

Don't worry, one more result like that and you can crack the champagne open 🙄

So Sky show any games next week??

Absolute shite! That will only happen if Morecambe lose at home to Bradford! a win is a must!

Then why is it absolute shite ?

But that doesn't change how we have to approach the game; to win.

Pish that. Deserved nowt. And I had to give Exeter a tenner.

Gutted totally fucking gutted

Oh well, strange second half with Exeter clearly going full pelt for a winner after their equaliser but all ours didn't  seem to have that same urgency. Did some of ours think a draw was enough or did they run out of steam ?

But....it's still in our hands & i'd rather be us than Morecambe, but it's going to be a long week.

Have to be honest, Exeter fully deserved that and to be fair we were lucky it wasn’t more. We just have no threat around the box, no intent to shoot or test the keeper, just pass to someone else and don’t take responsibility yourself. Yet again how many shooting chances did we spurn and how many time did our approach play lead to nothing? Every time Exeter got forward their play resulted in something, even if it was off target. We’ve been poor in that regard all season and I hope IE can sort it out before next week. The lads must be gutted but they only have themselves to blame.

No because we have been shit for a number of years, do you think this lot are worse  than those that lost at Accrington Stanley ?

This lot have plenty of limitations but to say they have less fight than some of the recent teams is not true. Clearly my opinion

Calling me or any one squire makes you sound like a total prick.

Mentioned on twitter Thog tart and Thog nonce were in the ground for the game

This might be a blessing

We now know we need to win to be certain rather than not knowing if to stick or twist

On a side note and certainly grasping at straws , but how did the referee not see the foul on Isgrove as a professional foul and a straight red for their player . At the time we were 1 up and in the ascendancy.  Big decision gone against us there.

Do you think the form team of the division will lose at home to a team who have gone particularly shite in the last 6 games? Truthful answer please?

If we both tie next week, we go up.

What was the reaction of fans at the ground after the game?

A few decided to kick off amongst themselves. We have a high percentage of throbs unfortunately that affiliate themselves with our club.

They must be much better supporters than the rest of us.
