😂😂 very good. So 100s of thousands expected out this weekend have always been against what’s happening in the Middle East but only now have decided to turn out. Got ya.

Sometimes it helps to have a think about what you type before diving in.

The irony...

So why can't these muslim folk just pick another date to protest?

One weekend in the whole calendar to avoid yet they pick it.

And whats the aim in the protest?

The vast majority won't be Muslims... And there will be plenty Jewish/Israeli folk there too...

The aim of any protest is to protest against something.

For some reason they’re marching to the yank embassy 🤷🏻‍♂️

How do you know?

Because I'm not a fucking moron who's been convinced it's a massive Muslim invasion to topple the Cenotaph.

I'm sure even RW doesn't think that's on the agenda

Anyhoo...no doubt there will be folk "keeping vigil" a day or two before, and posting about it all over Twitter and FB, to show how patriotic they are :)

Why these none Muslim types not marching for the Jews killed in the massacre or waving the Israel flags for the poor innocent Israelis murdered? Do only Muslim deaths count.

Absolute horseshit.

Its a march to support Islam and backed by hordes of left wing professional protesters.

Thats why theres coaches going from Muslim strongholds all over the gaff.

And again I ask, why this weekend?

Its like some fuckers arranging a flag shaggers march right in the middle of Eid.

Its nothing but antagonistic.

Course it's relevant.

You think any of these fuckers with megaphones sticking flags on and and defacing monuments actually give two fucks about people on the gaza strip?

Do me a favour ffs.

Its not relevant as its a discussion over whether it should be banned

There need to be grounds to ban it and i dont think stickers and megaphones cut it

Still braverman has managed to make it an issue and it appeals to her extreme base

It is an issue, She is one of, if not the only person who can get it banned. She has probably seen that the Met aren’t doing enough to stop the violence that they’re predicting at the weekend.

I think most probably do have concern over Gazans in fairness, but what seems equally, if not more important, is being antisemitic, anti western and generally distasteful in their approach.

Attacking an ex serviceman selling poppies is hardly the efforts and anyone singularly concerned with the people of Gaza, exercising their right of lawful assembly, and more about something more sinister.

This might come as news to you. The ones marching aren’t attending a game 🤦🏻

I’m guessing you know more about the bloke in the clip than me, there’s nothing from what I’ve seen suggesting he’s jumping on a bandwagon.

You've struggled a bit with this analogy haven't you ❤️

That's okay

I'll make it simple

Police work week in week out with football clubs and fans to help keep the peace. We know people come looking for trouble and they are dealt with separately and given banning orders or arrested etc. Not everyone is stopped from attending the games because of the idiots.

Let's apply the same tactics to policing of protests 👍

You obviously disagree and want it banned or moved to Monday. Let's see what the police go with and agree to disagree on this one.

Its not her decision, dont you get it?

An independent police force is very important

If the police want it stopped then it’s  her decision. It’s quite bonkers that you don’t think Home Secretary should be involved with this.

When football clubs work with the police they also pay them. Who will be paying for this March? And yes In some cases everyone from one side have been stopped from attending because of the actions of others.

There may be people planning a peaceful march, but so far I don't think there has been a single one.

Absolutely no evidence that they can manage peaceful protest.

I could send you reels upon reels of thousands of people marching down the street, peacefully, holding banners that say 'ceasefire, stop the war, free Gaza' etc. etc. But I won't bore you with it.

The Met Police have said they are concerned about breakaway groups. They clearly accept that it's not the majority. So why are you assuming it is? I get there are some horrendous videos out there, but that's not evidence they're all at it. Unless you were there and saw things differently?

I find it bonkers that people think the organisers of something as fluid and diverse as a protest should be responsible for the actions of everyone on that protest.
