Maybe: he doesn't seem to have been very decisive, though I think it's important that whoever is in charge during such a time listens to all views.

Point I'm making is that irrespective of quality of leadership, the process and route taken would never have pleased everybody.

Absolutely no idea of what you're talking about, let alone having made any comments remotely to that effect.

If it's something from the enquiry then I've already said I've not been following it, and certainly haven't offered an opinion on it.

A truly odd statement.

Strangely, I'm finding that since the covid pandemic we have a society full of odd, inaccurate, spurious, selective commenting. Perhaps it is the effect on mental health which is often reported on.

Which is also then used as an argument against lockdowns in some quarters, which again illustrates the point that you can't please everyone.

Definitely mental health issues

But if you want to play that game

I am classed as seriously depressed

I spent a bit on suicide watch, though I'd never do it

I'd probably fuck it up

Does all that mean my opinions are less valid?

I think you need to either explain that comment or apologise for it.  If not you've come across as a right cunt.

I’ll never know what it is to walk in your shoes and I’ll factor that in with any future communication.

I hope that you continue to progress.

I agree with Bravermans comments as a right wing march would be stopped.

I think the last march to be banned was in 2011?

Factor?

How would you 'factor'

Think you owe a huge apology to TGMJ there

And a numerous amount of people on this website

It affects a lot of us.

Can't go into any detail for reasons of privacy, but it has been confirmed that the pandemic has affected the resilience of younger folk, this by someone in the field.

Reasons behind it are many and varied, but this is being used by some to justify not locking down. It may be correct, but then again that's hindsight, and we don't know what the alternative situation would be.

Plus, as my GP confirmed, many weren't "depressed" but coverage in the media etc helped create a situation where they thought they were.

A double edged sword, but as we've seen at matches since, people do seem to be acting in a less rational, at times selfish way.

A short tale- at the height of covid, an old lady customer wanted some compost.

I finished up going all over looking for some to no avail- everyone was doing stuff in their gardens. Every visit to a garden centre had an element of risk for me but I did it to help a vulnerable person.

In the end, I went to her house and apologised as I hadn't been able to find any.

She was in her neighbour's garden, against rules, drinking tea. She told me the neighbour had got her some, but hadn't bothered to let me know.

Seems relatively innocuous, but it really got to me.

Next thing she's onto me to do a little job- I hadn't arrived quick enough for her so she rang me and said don't come again.

An old person who I'd always had a lot of time for, turned into an inconsiderate, selfish woman.

The pandemic had far reaching effects, and they are still on going.

BD by the way, has helped me, and checks on my wellbeing from time to time.

The NF march past the Cenotaph every year and have done for the past 50 odd years.

I bet @Casino was raging when the mayor of London tried to get a NF March banned a few years back. I can’t find any posts about it though on here

Your GP told you people weren't depressed, they just "thought they were"? Fuck me.

I went to one who said, and I quote, "you are not a soldier" after I wanted advice about panic attacks years ago.

No, point is though casino was raging yesterday that SB was getting involved, he was suggesting it’s all down to the police (I don’t think he’s sure of the HS job)

So she’s full of shit.

She’s a strange one. A chunk of those she’s seems to be pandering to would have no qualms in deporting her
