He was quite candid; more kids coming through.

Some no doubt will have been suffering, but as you well know, being stressed/a bit down is of its self not an indication of genuine depression. 

Unfortunately, reports indicate that far too many of them may have been given antidepressants that they didn't need. Just that at the time the availability of treatment/gp services was reduced so a quick solution offered.

Maybe every fucker going through depression thinks every fucker else is pretending? I just find it a bit far fetched that a GP would tell one of their patients that they were dishing out SSRI's for no reason.

Well of course you would, as you've got form.

However, if you read properly, I didn't say that he had prescribed them (though he may have) as he didnt say. He commented that not all patients had depression. (Perhaps on that basis he wasn't one dolling them out)

The general point was from news reports that many folk were given the medication too quickly, by GPs all over.

Now of course these reports were also made up as you describe. Yet more evidence of a loss of rational thought in folk.

So he told you other GP's in the surgery were handing out SSRI's to people who didn't need them? That's a pretty serious accusation.

It’s a loaded word that could be interpreted in different ways. An innocent victim for example could be one. But also so could a suicide bomber.

Not an easy one to start assuming it’s a pro Hamas chant. Interesting that all those reporting it (GB news, Daily M & the Express) have chosen to ignore that.
