It is disingenuous to say our politicians are supporting one side ?
And then you say 'support will be given to Israel' ?

Not sure what point you are making ?

For me there are 2 sides at war Hamas and Israel.

And that is why you are completely wrong in viewing the issue so simplistically. It really isn't so.

I don’t view it simplistically, it’s a complex problem, Israel not blameless but ultimately it’s a simple choice, and I won’t be on the side of a cancerous terrorist organisation who’s sole aim is to exterminate Jews and Israel and are comfortable in putting Muslims and Palestinians in harms way.

Well Boby says there are 3 sides ?

TMGJ says it is disingenuous to say our politicians support one side ?

Where do the civilians in Palestine come in ? Sure I do not need to repeat my view Hamas are scum who need wiping off the face of the earth. I can think that without being as horrified by 000s being killed in Palestine as I was when Hamas committed their atrocities.

The mistake Palestinians made was voting Hamas into power. As they can’t or won’t remove Hamas then Israel & the west must do it.

That’s a bit like saying the mistakes the Germans made wasn’t getting rid of hitler (widely acknowledged that plenty tried)

poignant on this day too.

Surely innocents dying is a bit rubbish to everyone regardless of thoughts and opinions. Not suggesting you don’t to be clear.

Seems crazy to me this all is going on and people in the uk March on it (either side) with little consequence or knowledge on it.

They last had an election in 2006, half their population was not even born then.

There were 2 girls on the Palestine March that did not know about the Hamas attacks.

It might be better if you knew a little bit more about the maps you’ve posted. This link might help.

Fact Check: MSNBC's Palestinian Loss of Land Map | IMEU

"Does the map accurately show the loss of Palestinian land since 1946? Yes. The map accurately depicts the land that has been forcibly taken from Palestinians since 1946, two years before Israel was established and the accompanying expulsion of between 750,000 and a million Palestinians to make way for a Jewish state."

Can’t or won’t is what I said.

Yes I know I added the bit you left off because it changes the emphasis . Half the people in Palestine have never been alive when there was a vote so the 'or won't' is totally irrelevant.

But them getting killed in their 000s is not something that we should be horrified by ??

Of course it is. Very sad.

Irrespective of the rights and wrongs of the map and associated comments on various Web pages, there is a fundamental point missing: it's like top flight football bot existing before the Premier league- did Jews and Arabs etc etc not live in the region before 1946?

Why is any map of that time any more relevant than one drawn well before, or indeed well after?

Taking a particular snapshot in time as representative is nothing short of selective shite.

They've been battling for eons, and will be until they agree to accept Jews' right to exist.

Just a long list of he said, she said which massively clouds the waters.

Just like the historic northern Ireland peace agreement; whilst historic events and beliefs have to be considered, they want a genuine end to hostilities, then they have to accept each other, with a starting point from approximately where they are now.

To be fair, the "Australian Israel & Jewish Affairs Council" doesn't sound like a very impartial source either.

I'm amazed that it seems that some people can't agree that both "sides" have been, and generally continue to be, and probably always will be, massive arseholes towards each other

Exactly this, it’s never going to go away. God knows what 300k fuckwits taking to the streets 1000s of miles away thought they would achieve.

Agreed. Nor a few thousand coked-up Tommy Robinson impersonators. It's all very bizarre.
