There are multiple news stories and I'm not as convinced as you are that that's the reason why there's been such little attention given to the Israeli hostages

And in any event, the release of the hostages should be a condition of any ceasefire, not a consequence of it

You asked me what I'd do if I was Israel. We all know that's an incredibly daft question to ask a British citizen with no historic involvement in either side. But we're used to daft whataboutery questions. 

I can't speak for what Israel would do like you can speak for what a Palestinian mother would do. But if I was in their position, I'd like to think I would do a better job of protecting or evacuating those babies before any of them died. But we all know that's hypothetical. And if I was responsible for their death. I'd make sure I posted a video of the IDF giving out water on the evacuation route in the aftermath 😉

No I said we know Hamas use hospitals as bases and open fire on them so what are they supposed to do.

A month after this escalation started we see children in hospitals.

Why?

Who stopped them from leaving?

Why haven't neighbouring countries like Egypt, Saudi or Jordan offered to help those needing immediate sanctuary?

All I’m suggesting, in all my naivety, is that they go ahead & try. Even more so, now three have died.

 Maybe tomorrow you can tell us all how a Palestinian family is meant to remove their baby from life support and take it to the nearest safe zone? Was this a skill you picked up in Iraq whilst looking for weapons of mass destruction?
