Russia and China would most definitely be on the same side should any global conflict kick off along with the rest of the group and until Bolsonaro was ousted Brazil would've been too not sure if da Silva has the same aims when it comes to BRICS as his predecessor.

As well as a financial organisation BRICS also aims to rival the American/western led UN/NATO control on the world

Good luck with that one. There won’t be a world war over Israel attacking Palestine… and China wont be cosying up with Putin in any event. They ain’t stupid.

Exactly. China looks after itself.

Iirc, there was a recent "meeting" between Putin and another of his "allies" in the North Korean leader. They wouldn't go near each other, and the body language was terrible.

Total lack of trust between dictators, that wouldn't end well if push came to shove. A fine historical example in Stalin/Hitler.

No lessons from me on politics.. just using commonsense, China will not go to war with the USA because they are their biggest export market.... and they do not really care what is happening in the Middle East, As TMGJ correctly states China only cares about China.

Russia is like a third world country compared to China. Economically and militarily, Russia is in a state of rapid decline. They do have a lot of nuclear weapons though. It’s the only thing that keeps them relevant as a major power.
