How does this fit in with those who refuse to see a middle ground?

Hamas and Likud are bunch of cunts and the Palestinians are taking the brunt of both lots of cuntery (not to say Israelis haven't suffered just not to the same extent).

Palestine and Israel both have a right to exist and their own freedoms. Like squabbling siblings the continued agitations from both sides have to stop in order for there to be a lasting solution.

Israel/Likud needs to stop nicking Palestinian land along with the assorted shithousery of cutting off water and electricity and Palestine/Hamas need to stop the rocket attacks and general terrorist bullshit.

That's a little disingenuous really. The entire Sinai Eastern border is heavily fenced/guarded due to the past tensions between Israel & Egypt. This border is probably about 160 miles from North of Rafah to Taba on the Gulf of Aqaba. 

The Sinai/Gaza border is probably just 7 or 8 miles of that same 160-mile stretch.

I once walked through the Egypt/Israel border and buffer zone at Taba half-pissed with guns pointing at me, but that's another story.

I can’t believe rational thinking people watch them & think they’re accurate. Everything that’s wrong with social media. 

Egypt shouldn’t have to let all of Gaza flood into their country. That would only allow Israel to move its own settlers into Gaza. If we were Egypt, we’d all be making the same argument.

Correct. If Egypt opened its border for free movement from Gaza, that gives Israel carte blanche to continue to drive all Palestinians out of Gaza defend itself.

Nothing has actually been lodged as yet.

It is only a recommendation by their chief prosecutor, but has to be ratified by the panel.

Once done, even if a warrant was issued, there is still a trial, so nothing proven.

It is good that you acknowledge it is a war, and that is important- it doesn't mean all folk will see it as you believe it to be neither; it's simply that nothing has substantively changed.

Just for balance, if this bit of research is accurate, then it blows the starvation argument out of the water.

As usual though, in the fog of war, no one really knows.
