As a similar non expert, I'd say it definitely doesn't look like a crater made by a (functioning) bomb of the type the IDAF has been using. (That's not to say that it isnt horrendous to see many of their planes flying with Vietnam era unguided/dumb bombs attached) We'll see if there can be any independent verification of what either side says, that will probably be quite difficult though, who else would have the ability to have monitored what really happened? The US? It almost doesn't matter now anyway, followers of each side are that entretnched that neither would believe anyone but the other side is at fault.
