RUREADY2ROLL
The FA have ruined what used to be the most important cup in the world. Other games playing on the same day FFS. Munich’s started the rot when they pulled out for a Micky Mouse domestic World Cup. hope Leicester win it but it’s now only a little better than the League Cup. most fans don’t give a shit about the Champions League but making the winner an automatic entry to the Champions League would boost the FA Cup plus move the semi finals away from Wembley
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted May 15, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted May 15, 2021 I hadn’t realised it was cup final weekend until earlier today. Used to be a brilliant day on Grandstand. Anyway, Chelsea will win 2-0.
Guest
Could be a tremendous season for Chelsea hope they win both cups especially the CL
Dr. Feelgood
Completely agree. I was just wondering what hotel the teams are staying at, will we follow the team coach to Wembley, why last night's 'Question of Sport' wasn't based on the two finalists. What side was 'Cup-Final It's a Knockout' on ? I do hope Leicester win it because you can imagine it will mean something to the team, the club and the fans. Chelsea will just chuck it on the pile like an unwanted Christmas present.
Dimron
Used to be the biggest match of the season... I remember going to the corner shop at half time and the world was totally quiet... no one out and about, all indoors watching the Cup Final. Leicester for me
tomski
Ruined as stated above. Will give it a miss like most other games. Didn’t even know it was cup final day till someone messaged this morning.

Grandstand use to be along the lines of: 11:15 Team hotels 12:00. It's a Cup Final Knockout and/or Question of Sport 13:00 Follow the team coaches to Wembley by helicopter 14:30 Community singing/Abide with me. 15:00. A game of football 17:15 Dr Who Cracking day. bolton va va
Tried to force a bit of interest by having a small bet on Leicester 3-1 or 3-2, fuck Chelsea as one of the "super league ", but not that bothered. Shame, as i'm another who used to love all the build up & game on cup final day.

Breightmet Boy
After what we’ve been through I don’t give two shiny shits about anyone else, totally meaningless to me. Getting my season ticket this week is far more important, only my club matters to me.

jeep
Superb to have some supporters in the stadium - another step towards normality - not really arsed who wins as long as it's a decent game....
