Long time since I could be bothered with them. Actually enjoy the summer break from football; cricket, holidays, weather (sometimes) doing stuff in the garden having a few bbqs and folk round. The Longridge one could sort of appeal if it was at the end of a walk in the hills, other than that, meh.

Site Supporter barryk32 Posted May 27, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted May 27, 2021 Think me and our Peg will have a couple of days in Chester. This is what it's about for us. There's no way I'd be saying would you like a night or two away in the middle of the week in a random town if it wasn't for football. God I've missed it. bwfc2003
Cant remember last friendly I did - maybe a testimonial match against some jocks, but missing football and the social involvement means I am up for quite a few of these

stevieb
I'll do the Blackburn game if it's back to normal. No masks or sitting half a mile from your mate etc. Can't fucking wait to get back to the game. Even though most of the last 10 years has been shit on the pitch its the only time I have that's 'me time'. And by me time I mean drinking 9 pints and telling the Mrs I've only had 3 when I get back in.
