I was wavering but only because the initial vaccine has less effect on omicron. The new one is a combination of the old and one targeting omicron. Makes absolute sense. Interesting though, that Denmark for example doesn't now routinely offer the vaccine to under 50s, unless there is a heightened risk with their health. Had mine yesterday , mrs has hers today , 2 out of 3 daughters say they aren't bothering this time. As @Tonge moor green jacket says above the combination of old and new made sense to me.
