17 tournaments I’ve invested my entire emotional being into England FC.
This is for Gazza, Bobby Robson, every Englishman and yes - Southgate.
Whatever happens on Sunday, we’ve put a lot of fucking demons to rest this last couple of weeks.

Just two observations

Sterling is still shit

Who taught luke shaw to defend...every set piece, he just grabs hold of his opponent.  Itll cost us again if hes not careful

Denmark had 15 minutes in the first half. Other than that it was one way traffic. Embarrassingly so. A shame it took so long to get the second goal.

Now I keep hearing & reading that "Denmark were the better team".

No idea how that is accurate.

Then it's "that was never a penalty", well, it was ... plus the foul on Kane most certainly was, so swings & roundabouts.

Sterling has coverted me ... though he does run into blind alleys now & then. Saka is a revelation. I remain unconvinced about combining Rice & Phillips but hey, it's working. Same with Mount, who I continue not to get. Maybe Southgate knows more than me after all.

Well I see Grealish did exceptionally well again 🙄

Thought Walker was superb, his pace got England out of trouble a few times when they broke

He made quite an impact when he did get on. Played well, but sacrificed for a change in tactics. A change which invited Denmark onto us more than was necessarily comfortable.

I was nodding my head to that until you don’t get rice and Phillips. Wow

Sorry to be hughmungus but we’re slightly above average as is Gareth. Hope we beat the Italians but be prepared for the strong possibility we won’t, hope chiesa is injured because he’s class act and could do without him fit. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
