But you got the cash?

So they haven’t actually stopped people getting their cash?

Not disputing it took 2 days. But if someone pretending to be you had managed to duplicate your details, you’d have been fairly fucked off if they’d just wandered in and took your cash in ten minutes.

So, in the end, everyone can get their money out in cash.

Nothing to see here. Except screeching snowflakes getting in a lather

2 days!!! To get out 12k 😆

You said they can’t refuse you cash. At the time I wanted it they refused it me.

They had my passport on the system, along with military ID and Driving licence. The bank manager had had numerous sit down talks with me previous. He knew who I was.

this is from the RBOS web site

In some instances, we may choose to decline the cash withdrawal based on the information provided surrounding the transaction. This would only ever be in situations where we need to safeguard our customer.

But hey spider said they can’t refuse it you 🤦🏻

I asked for a link to the story TMGJ described. Still haven't got one.

Why would you want a link when you have said that’s pretty much procedure?

At the risk of sounding like, well, you - did you get your cash?

I’m keeping it as simple as I can 🥰

(the situations mentioned in your post may be ones where the bank feel fraud is taking place. Have you got any examples of actual times when this has happened?)

Let's give RW some slack, he's obviously so important that the bank need to check his massive 12k

Because I would like to know the source of the story. Why are you posting about your terrifying 2-day wait for a large cash withdrawal in a discussion about a Far-Right conspiracy theory that banks are punishing Brexiters? Your experience happened a decade before the EU referendum.

I think Bolty will be waking up soon, just heard the call

No on the day they refused me the cash. Banks can refuse you cask as per the RBOS link. For some Reason you think they can’t.

Read back again. I’m not posting about any conspiracies. As I said in my reply to TMGJ it’s been happening for years and gave an example. Not hard really.

Maybe they wanted to be 100% sure it was you.

Banks aren’t like the ones in Its A Wonderful Life anymore. They have to be careful I would think.

The point here is that the wokey left banks don’t give folk their cash anymore. Plainly they do, they just don’t take risks. Seems ok to me.

Also, imagine if 50 people wanted to take £10k each out one day, should the bank have half a mill in the till?

You got your cash. I don’t know why you’re so upset.

RBOS have said they can on their website.

Spider and NIC have said they can’t on a football forum 😂😂

Hang on, why the fuck would a millionaire withdraw £25k for Christmas shopping? I wouldn't draw £250 quid for Christmas shopping because every fucker takes card and it is a lot easier.

Imagine wandering down Oxford St with a suitcase of 20's looking for that perfect present.

If 50 people wanted to take 10k out then I’m sure they would have said we are a bit short pop back tomorrow or nip to Manchester.

Not sure if you missed the previous post but I’d had numerous sit downs with him before, he knew it was me.

Amazing. Ticket touting is a lucrative trade now. How do you go about paying cash into your account?

I do tell client who are starting building work and expecting to have large irregular payments to inform the bank prior to starting the contract. I have had two jobs where clients have had accounts blocked due to what the banks thought were suspicious payments.

That good you want to talk about bank accounts online. Sounds ace

It is, and I hope you know that nor what we do really.

We have a very decent accountancy firm and a good business account which they look after for us.

This all started because your mate Nigel said he was being shunned by a bank because of his Political opinions... but now it's just personal gripes about perfectly normal Banking practices?
