Has anybody watched any of it? I've tried it a few times. Currently watching something called Dewbs and Co and it's absolutely dreadful. 

Anybody seen anything good on it?

Now, when I visit my folks they have it on - that and Boom FM. Both bright peopl but since getting older (and certainly during the pandemic) have become very entrenched in their views - to the point we steer clear of discussing politics now as it's not worth it. 

All the usuals get it in the neck - Archbishop of Canterbury, the 'woke', Kahn.

It's not about intelligence its just their world, and they are both in their 70s, has become slightly smaller, and certain developments they don't like so they switch off (they listened to the Today programme for years but now that's BBC-bias!) from anything that isn't just what they want to hear, and its a bit of a railing against modernity and younger people. Its always happened, and it always will - but because of modern media there are more channels for it to be expressed, and more silios for people to find themselves in.

Its viewpoint TV, I personally don't agree with the viewpoint, but balanced it is not. And also as they are getting slightly hard of hearing it's blasted across the house. We'll just about settle on Sky when I visit for longer periods and discuss work, TV programmes and books at the dinner table!

I even watched Talk TV as well at one point.

There was a presenter on there who was adamant that concrete grows on trees.

It’s definitely found a certain level.

I've watched it. In fact I've accidentally had it on in the background all day. And it's awful. They did a live outside broadcast from some town that apparently had the most Brexit votes as a percentage in the UK. 

The reporter kept telling us that the town centre from which he was reporting is known by the locals as 'foreign square'. 

It's absolutely dreadful, and even makes me look wistfully at ITV News.

Don't even know how to tune in to it. Is it on freeview? I've seen enough clips to confirm that it's for thick old bigots anyway.

GB News is the country & western of the News world.

Simple lyrics, formulaic and predictable tunes, same themes.

If a c&w singer wants to write a song about being lonely and heartbroken, the chances are the opening line will be “I’m lonely and heartbroken”

Doesnt require too much from the old grey matter. Undemanding but delivers its point.

Defending GB news is odd behaviour. I watched 47 mins once and it was incredibly bad.

Asking for a link to show that old racists watch GB news is like asking for a link to prove the Earth is round.

To be fair, they're not all old

Like most I’ve only seen clips which have shown good and bad. I’ve just added the app on my iPad, let’s see how it goes over the next week.

Went to Lancs today ( I may have mentioned it😊) Downloaded  my ticket on my Lancs. ticket app. 
Nothing unusual and normal for most.
 

It really does piss me off this ‘old’ shite.

I’m guessing it comes from the Brexit vote. That  a lot of older people voted out. WelI I and  many others of my age didn’t. 
Many, younger then me voted out. 
Discrimination comes in many guises. 

Remember this, we all have different views on politics but we all, if we are lucky, grow old.
