Just seen liverpool have 2 anfield friendlies early august

Capped at 75% capacity

If thats gonna be the norm ( i dunno who has set the cap) while it wouldnt affect us for home games it may impact on away games before we get locked down again in september

Will be interesting to see if Boris's latest announcement (2 jabs needed to enter venues where large crowds gather) is applied to football crowds.  I'm unclear if "outdoor" events are exempt, but so much time is spent on the concourses etc I'd be surprised.

Possible, though in terms of time, you're not in concourse for long, when compared to a nightclub.

Additionally, the age profile at football is across the spectrum, so you'd envisage a higher proportion of vaccinated folk at the football.

On the other hand, nightclubs tend to have a younger clientele, who are proportionally less vaccinated.

Are we due another 9 months of this negative cockwomble coming on here every time we lose, draw or win in a way he disapproves ?

I get 'free speech' & all that but it entails at least a bit of fair mindedness.

This guy is a WUM & a Troll. Must be tolerate it ?

Just because my opinion differs from yours doesn’t make you right does it, my scepticism about Evatt has been consistent as I just don’t see him as the saviour others do.

I am and always will be BWFC through and through but if we all agreed about things then what’s the point of a forum like this ?

But they aren't opinions, they are simply a pile of grumbles and pre-judged criticisms. Not in the faintest way even close to constructive. Constant wind-ups don't achieve anything other than pissing people off.

To misquote Michael Palin, not so much a discussion as downright abuse. Wind it in & be critical if you must, but give being constructive a spin. You might enjoy it.

Nicely described.

His posts are intended to provoke, and are devoid of logical, impartial thinking.

What were your early opinions of past great managers? Did you call out (from my own time watching) Ian Greaves, Bruce Ricoh or Sam Allardyce as greats right from the off?

Did you call Owen Coyle great?

It’s ok being against the flow but to be honest, you are to Bolton supporting what the anti-vaxxers are to keeping safe. With such overwhelming support for a manager do you not step back from your preconceived opinions and try to look at what it is setting you on a course 180° from the rest?

TBH I did call out Coyle & Freedman and as for the others you mention no because they brought in players of a higher calibre than we had and you could see a difference in the team immediately.
A manager is only as good as the team he puts out and even after trying hard to join in with the happy clappers last season I always thought after every game “what was the plan, and can we maintain this” and most of the time wasn’t convinced. Evatt was lucky last season in a very poor league and I am in fear that this season will be to much for him with his limited thinking.

As always I will be the first to say I’m wrong in he pulls it off.

Sorry but my opinion is just that opinion, and as I’ve already said just because it’s not yours doesn’t make you right, nor does it mine.

If you dislike my opinion just block me but can’t change the way I think despite the abuse I get from the happy clappers.

I take it you fear that we'll be closer to the bottom than the top this coming season.......in fact looking at your posts, I assume you think we're destined for a relegation battle

Nope.......the routine will be to make a wholly unrealistic prediction for the season - " we should be champions by Easter" - & then whine like a little bitch when it doesn't materialise.

I've no problem with this post as you've at least tried to explain your reasons. It's the other 99% of your posts that seem to be done for attention/wind up

Well it’s our first real test tonight, so let’s see how the boys go. It will be interesting to see how IE plays it, whether he’ll stick with the total change at HT, or go with an eleven and make changes as needed. We need to be getting some idea of a starting eleven now so hopefully that will be the case tonight, albeit we still won’t have Doyle in the squad.
