Big result that.

Two draws and a defeat wouldn't have been a great start. Two draws and then a victory is tremendous. A play off team last year, couple that with another who were just outside them and we can be really pleased. Chuck in a victory over a team who played in the play offs in a league higher last year, and it is really positive.

Hope Baka is OK.

How was Gordon?

Good performance that

A good open game and never felt like we'd let it slip once we scored

Better than most of the 1-0s last season

That said, didn't see half of it due to the technical issues

Thought Gordon was OK. Nothing special but didn't let anyone down against a decent winger too

Can't comment on half of the first half, but we played some nice stuff at times, but we were also sloppy with some lose passing. Baka going off unsettled them a bit, and not getting a sub on quickly enough nearly gave them the upper hand. Tightened things up second half and made less mistakes, they had some spells mainly when Bridcutt got hold of it, but otherwise we looked threatening and scored a good goal, from there we managed the game well. Thought the back four did well, Gordon looked OK although shouldn't cross the ball again after an effort in the 2nd! Jones was fantastic and saved an almost certain goal with a fantastic interception after getting back from their box. Liked the look of kachunga when he came on as he got right in the mix and his tackle lead to goal.

We look more direct and carry more of a threat than at times last season.

were you trying to "watch" I follow as well? lol

seriously I was very impressed second half especially what a performance and result

Aye hence the post.

Clean sheet, unbeaten and highest scorers in the division.

Hopefully get a good crowd on against Oxford to help keep this positive momentum going.

Back on the coach.

There’s nothing like away games! There’s a real special feeling at the moment. There’s just so much togetherness, belief and optimism amongst players, staff and fans. It’s brilliant.

1st half pretty even, all our problems seemed to be of our own undoing.

2nd half was fantastic, errors cut out, always on the front foot, looking threatening from both flanks, controlling possession.

Well deserved win. Let’s keep it going 👏
