Loved that catch from Dixon late on

Still has his moments but he's growing on me

Oh, and to agree, they're a good team

I think we have had a tough start

3 top 10 teams and Wimbledon first home game

Agree with all that.  Dixon growing on me too, sound handling throughout the last 2 games on the whole and distribution generally good.

Most were at the match. Great performance. Two good teams. Impressed with the quality of football in this division so far.

I was at the match AND posted during the game, proper fan me

Good game, both had spells on top, they were looking more likely but Doyle's goal seemed to quieten them down till late on and they skyed what appeared to be a sitter at the end

MJ stood out for me

As did Karl Robinson, most managers do suit or tracksuit, he did "lad on a big away day out"

The energy around the club hasn’t been this good since the premier league days, going to the game became a chore and now I’m genuinely excited for saturday’s.

Indeed.  Doesn't it feel strange.  Just want it to continue for as long as possible.  The contrast with 7 months ago (Tranmere away) is unbelievable.

Enjoyable afternoon.  Thought first half was pretty even although they did slice us open a couple of times.  They started the 2nd half stronger but we scored against the run of play which seemed to knock the stuffing out of them for a time.  Both Doyle and Lee missed chances to put us 2 goals clear, but we were hanging on at the end. Great win though.

All the teams we have played so far have been decent.  Someone must play hoofball in this league.

Defence looks a bit ropey at the moment.  The Santos/Jackson partnership needs time. John hasn’t really got going yet this season and Jones is only good in parts. Improvement needed.

Expecting plenty changes on Tuesday, wouldn't be surprised to see most of today's bench start, and Gordon to replace John.  Could be completely wrong, but they can't carry on at this intensity twice a week surely.

Yep exactly, sarce was shagged with 30 mins to go covering so much ground it’s a completely different temp to L2

i know it’s bragging rights but really not arsed about Tuesday and no doubt wigan will make changes

No one played hoofball in league 2, so wouldn’t expect any in League 1

Great game though and its nice to be back actually enjoying games at our stadium again, it was a real fucking chore for a while.

Our fans are brilliant - what was the attendance today?

I do not get this we were lucky talk. They looked good on the break but seemed be attacking as much.

Did our keep make a save of note ? They missed a sitter at the end but so did Lee.

I think we have shown we are good enough to compete with the better teams in the division last year.

Beaten the play off finalists and team who made the play offs in the space of 5 days and over the course of the 2 been the better side

yes defence doesn’t look as stable but going forward we look Superb (keegans Newcastle springs to mind)

If anyone wants a barometer of where we are and where we could / should be expecting to be the last 5 days gives you that indication

Not bad, considering Ocky only brought 800.

Apparently we have 10k season ticket holders, which means we have around 4k buying tickets for todays game, which is fairly healthy imo and long may it continue, i see no reason why it wouldn’t - because we are actually  being entertained!

Lots of old faces seem to be getting the bug again.

When Sunderland and one or two others come and if we continue to thrive, we might see 20,000+ this season.

Possession 49/51

Shots think they had 2 more than us.

Doyle missed a chance 1 on 1, Lee missed a sitter right at the end.

I am not saying we battered them, but we matched them. Yeah they looked dangerous going forward, but so did we. They were losing so pushed forward I do not see how we were lucky.

We may have been lucky on second goal as think it took a deflection after Doyle touched it and it might have been going wide.

For me first half they put themselves in great positions but bad decision making let them down, we scored at the right time

Really good, particularly when one looks at Blackburn and Preston and what crowds they're getting.

Less than 12000 at Rovers and they were playing West Brom, who always travel in big numbers.

Good shout.

Sometimes folk don’t remember our opportunities, just the oppositions.

Johnston had one cleared off the line. Sheehan should have scored, Doyle’s lob, Lee etc.

Last 15, I thought we looked the fittest side, again.

It could have been a draw but it wasn’t.

These sides look decent, a massive step up from last year, but we’re doing good.

I’m getting a wiggle on.

MJ, short for MaJestic, said it before.

Mmmm, bit worried if he’s injured though. We’d really have to change our shape.

Tutte couldn’t cover the ground that MJ does & Lee isn’t as physical, as highly as I rate him.

The team revolves around him imo.
