Presumably a family member of the band or summat. We had tickets for Friday at the Apollo, it's been rearranged to January. The night before Orient. Quote
tshape Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Paris tomorrow for Pregoblin, Lias Sauodi and Pete Doherty. Quote

fester58 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 went to the new century on sat to watch the coral, what a great venue,a bit to hipster for me and gender nuetral bogs in the bar downstairs, not great for me with a 14 yo. once in the venue the ceiling is superb and sound spot on easy to get served for a drink. its got to be said the coral really are a superb band, loads of classic songs and the new stuff is good, sounds like a score from a western film. Only issue I have with the New Century is there's no fucking signal in there or a wifi network which makes meeting up with your mates a ball ache Quote
Smiley Posted December 18, 2023 Posted December 18, 2023 Over a week ago, went to Harrogate Royal Hall to see The Bootleg Beatles. Phenomenal show. Highly recommend to all of you with decent musical taste. And those without. Second time I’ve seen them in last 12 months. Quote

Yeah - had a quick look and it seems they've had replacement members over the years - they'd need to if they started 40-odd years ago. Bit like 'The Drifters' sell themselves as the original but they are a bit like the old broom joke from Only Fools and Horses. Quote

ErnestTurnip Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Got SPRINTS tickets in the bag for later in the year, wasn't sure they were going to do a full tour. Might get some English Teacher tickets just for a night out, very flavour of the month with some people and while I'm not convinced they're only cheap. Quote
Smiley Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Made up that The Crooks have reformed after 2 years in the wildnerness. Really think big things are ahead of those guys from Chesterfield. Got some stocking tunes. Released a new track on Friday. Will be getting tickets tomorrow for their Night & Day gig in Manchester. Quote

Love Frank Skinner and he's been great both times I've seen him. Autobiography is a brilliant read too. Quote
