Missed out on that! Went to the Korn LB double header, sure Fred Durst walked past me in the thick of it when Korn were closing

Not seen Slipknot outside a festival in ages, saw their first Manchester date way back when and i think i saw them at the Nynex but seen them countless times at festivals.

Standing ticket price for Slipknot at the Co-Op was 67 quid, Pearl Jam want an extra £100 for the same tickets, rather unsurprisingly Slipknot has sold out months in advance and Pearl Jam has loads of empty seats a couple of week out

Just ludicrous pricing

just having a look, Take That are on tonight

seats down the side / lower tier £132.50

upper tier at the back £70.15, or £46 on resale

ludicirous indeed

and looks like plenty left

December 2016

At the Apollo? Snot were first on and were brilliant even without Lynn Strait who thought driving whilst off his gourd was a good idea and killed not only himself and his dog but a fantastic band..

Did you both to watch Jane’s Addiction? Set list looked belting. I’ve just gone and booked flights, accom and tickets to see them in Paris after missing out on Manchester (was on holiday).

No we watched BC Camplight instead. Heard good things about the Jane's Addiction set though.

Think Perry is around 65, how was his voice? Always seemed a bit weak in the last 10-15 years.

We were in the £132.50 seats last night. Baffled why they built a music venue as a rectangle so for your £132.50 you’re having to constantly look across people. Absolutely insane pricing, and glad we got to try out the view for nowt!

The empty seats weren’t particularly noticeable, although the lack of touts outside was, so I bet even they were struggling to shift tickets.

I'm definitely more into Weezer than Pumpkins

they're on first as well (or they were the other night)

never got into SPs in terms of listening to an album of theirs, but I know enough of the hits to probably enjoy it if they are decent live

Seen SP a couple of time and they're very good live IMO. First time I saw them their set was about 3 hours long and support from Metric.

I'm going tonight too. Going to be class. Weezer set is around 20 songs from what i've seen and they're playing the Blue album almost in full. SP then on at 9pm - 11pm.

thought Weezer were ok, not sure the venue suited them, seemed to start flat and only get going once they'd done that cover of Celebrity Skin, though Only In Dreams was very good, but would much rather have seen them in the Apollo or Acdemy

as for Smashing Pumpkins, as said, only know their well known hits and never listened to an album but thought they were excellent from start to finish and sounded far better than Weezer did in the big arena, seems I've been missing out all these years so going to plough through their back catalogue on repeat for the foreseeable

Billy Corgan is a big lad as well, appeared to be twice the size of everyone else on stage

decent enough venue, but just another arena really, except it has escalators

Are you signed up for BlueLight tickets? Our lad just got two tickets for the Madness/ Lightning Seeds show on Hoe tonight for £4.25 a pair as not sold at the stupid £65 headline price.

I'm struggling as to why someone would pay £4.25 to watch madness
