Now the financial discrepancy between the Premier league and the rest is so big, as we've discussed before, the top division could let folk in for next to nothing, and proportionally not lose that much. Lower down, gate receipts become a much bigger slice of income. In the end, it's perhaps unsurprising that some top flight tickets can be had for not much more than a lower team's. Stockport County fan at work told me today it’s £25 a ticket when they play Kings Lynn away this season. £25 for non-league is ridiculous.
