I think after Rotherham and Shrewsbury and losing to Sunderland and Wednesday, it’s taken a bit of the shine off but you’d still have thought being a derby we’d have a better turnout than that.

From anecdotal evidence, that's what puts some off.  Can't be bothered with the extra hassle of it being a bit spicey.  If you were taking your kid, or your Dad or your wife, to a game against Wigan or Shrewsbury, you'd go against the Shrews where its all about watching the game and no dickheads and moody atmosphere.  Too much other stuff going on against Wigan unless you're either properly committed or up for the occasion.  And category A prices won't help.

I’ve just paid £30 inc booking fee for this game.

Scandalous pricing for League 1.

You can watch PL football as an away fan for £30 FFS.

It’s no bloody wonder we haven’t sold so many……

We've sold loads if its 15k plus, we had crowds of less than 20k in the Prem.

But for context, £30 must be for "best" seats, no need to get those if price is an issue, its £25 in NSL (which compares to the seats Prem away fans get, ie the worst views generally).

I bought 1 adult and 1 junior for ESL for £37 incl booking fee.

You may have mitigating circumstances but this is why having a season ticket is the cheapest way of following Bolton.

Less than £11 a game . NSL.

I think im right that st monies arent allocated by the gam...maybe one for @Leyther_Matt

So record receipts will be for a none league game

Cup or play offs

What did we pay for liverpool in the cup under lennon

From an end of game accounting point of view, a pro rata amount of season ticket sales is likely to be assigned to the game but that’s just book keeping really rather than gate receipts in the strictest sense.

Mad to think clubs used to list their record receipts in their programme as part of their honours list. We still did it in the late 90s if not in to the early 2000s.

We need at least a point on the pitch.

Three points off.

Jesus Christ how old are you ?....that's the sort of garbage you'd expect from a 15 year old not a middle aged man.

Edit...gone.

The Earl of Balcarres pub in Aspull is opening at 9am for those tin pot cunts to get some early pastry down them.

Proper cup final day for these.

There is no Earl of Balcarres pub in Aspull.

There is the Balcarres Arms in nearby Haigh, which is probably the one you’re referring to, or there is the Earl of Balcarres pub in Scholes.

Both shit.

Scholes then

One shithole > another shithole

Either way, the stench of undercooked pastry wafting from the south stand will be sickening.

Scholes is grim….. very grim.

Haigh on the other hand is quite decent.

Like any town in England, Wigan has it’s shitholes for sure, but lets not kid ourselves BL is like Alderley Edge.

People in glass houses. 😀
