Burnden Pies
More and more PL clubs are just proxies for oligarchs and dodgy regimes now. Think we'll stick with FV and our Sharon
green genie
Be interesting to see if the 'istree clubs are all over them with FFP. Lot of catching up to do with Chelsea and City academy production line model.

stevieb
I'll tell you this now... As an outsider. They won't get it right like city have. This will be thaksin shinawartra style buy the league with mercenaries like Robinho City. Despite the massive funds they now have.. I can't see them ploughing what is needed to get them competing and have the facilities that city now have. And I can't see them attracting the players required up to the North East. I reckon they'll be paying over the odds for loads of shit for at least 3 years.
Traf
Newcastle's net transfer spend is £140m in the last 10 yrs. Their fans reckon they've had it bad? Try supporting Bolton, Bury, Macclesfield etc.
